Nice mate, hope your casting turned out great! SmoothCast300 is quite forgiving, as long as you are close to the 50/50 mix ratio. Just remember to mix it really well!

is a respirator needed for smooth cast 300?

I haven't noticed any fumes to speak of, so for small amounts in a large ventilated area, I would say no. But I'd recommend checking the MSDS for it just to be on the safe side.
