Just bought your Prelude tutorial.... It is extremely helpful. Most teachers do not teach how to play. I personally never had a teach who taught me how to play.... They just taught me how to interpret the music. It is very important to unlock all the technical problems like you do. Please make this kind of tutorial.

Got a question: in (I think) the third measure, in the run that plays a bit in the higher octave before coming down, there are two high B-flats written in my music for this first run (and only this first one, I think). However, this is the first recording I've heard where both B-flats are played. Most recordings have the pianist playing an A instead of the second B-flat. Anyone know why that is? And excuse my estimating; I don't have my book with me. I just really love this suite and am trying to learn to play it.

Editions discrepancies. What I played here using this edition has turned out to be a rather mistype.

Oh what edition has that Bflat 6th semiquaver b2? The Dover book has A there.

Yes there are different editions; I was using the first edition by E. Fromont, that has A only by repeat in bar 8.

@@DenZhdanovPianist Well look at that, so it does! So the Dover edition is a reprint of this but with those Bflats changed to A. Tres interessant. Noticed the Peters Urtext also has A so I think I'll stick with it. Great vid as always Denis!

I can imagine this could be actually a mistake fixed in older editions, but this lesson didn’t include various editions comparison and a historical research regarding such discrepancies, providing primarily technical and interpretation advice. Thanks for bringing it up though!
