Tutorial: Emulate LED feedback on a MIDI Controller using Bome MIDI Translator

In this tutorial, we show you how you can send MIDI messages back to your MIDI controller to update the LED status while allowing MIDI from your controller to your application to flow through untouched.

@@Bome Cool! One last question if you dont mind. I'm using classic RN bc I just learned about this so I'm learning before I pull the trigger on the full version. I'm trying to make the command Ctrl(+ ) but when I try to do the + I get the = bc I cant hit shift. How do you do that? Thanks!!

Hi there, this sounds really, really promising for the issue I'm trying to solve. I use a MIDI controller (Allen and Heath Xone:K1) to map functions from my Eventide H90 effects pedal. In the H90 software I'm unable to assign MIDI note values to the LED output of buttons. I already own a licence of Bome Pro, so could I use Bome to do this for me, by feeding the commands from the controller to Bome and the H90 at the same time and simulating LED output, when functions are toggled between active an inactive? It really does seem like this is the solution.
