I adore watching these older videos. Things falling on the floor and you trying to decided what books you want to look through to find ideas. You were still going to the school teaching

I enjoyed every moment of your video. I chuckled a couple of times. Not at you, but with you. Something fell in the background and you commented, “that will be interesting”. Sometimes my craft room is such a disaster it looks like a stick of dynamite went off.😁. Just love your videos and the beautiful art you create,

I’m glad to finally see a video on this!! (It’s already 3 years old & I recognize the original glass table without a pad!) I’ve been wanting to make one, so this is a great help! I found something on Amazon & wonder if it’s similar to what you use for your washi (or faushi?!) tape: They are “laser/ink jet matte clear full sheet labels” 8 1/2” x 11”, 1 per sheet, 50 sheets/box. $23.85. They’re probably not the same brand & I guess our sizes are different, but is that maybe a comparable price? Then to make your master copy, did you glue/tape all your strips to 1 piece of paper? Sorry, you know I’m from the Age of Dinosaurs! I always love watching you, Rachel!

im not sure if its the same publisher, but there was a copyright case regarding people using the cd to print out copies and then using them in their journals that were for sale. The court said it was sold, and its use was to print and use them, as first doctrine did apply. That was in the U.S. ill see if i can find that case again. You can cut those out and use in journals for sale too, you cant copy the images from the book and then use those for resale, that would be infringement

This is great. I will be making one very soon as I have stuff all over the dining table, and the floor, and the sideboard.... The long-tailed tit at 22 was the perfect choice. We have a little mob of them that come to our feeders (UK) and they are my absolute favourite garden birds. So adorable.

What kind of glue is your glue stick? Because all the glue sticks I've ever used haven't been strong enough and eventually the papers come unglued. But it would sure be convenient if I could find a glue stick that worked better.

ooooh! thank you so much for showing those books, i went to thriftbooks.com and they had three of the books in that series for cheap, like $4 apiece. Great finds! As far as using the images, I think you could also legally use printed out images from the CD in journals and then sell those journals. Am I right? Anyone?

You mention the New York public library a few times when talking about printouts. Do you search what you’re looking and save to print? I’m learning altered books and junk journaling to teach my Girl Scout troop this summer. If I can pull things from the NY public library to print, that would be great for our budget. Thanks in advance!!!!
@roxycreations6795 жыл бұрын
You need to go to the NYPL digital collection and then search public domain images. It will say no restrictions. You just select which size you want to download and save it in your computer. Susan Taylor Brown has a wonderful series on her channel with public domain sites.😃

Lucky finds, the alphabet book is $31 on American Amazon! I can't find the frames...but there is an animals book. Too many choices! LoL 🤪

I bought 2 on Amazon UK for 0.26 pence each plus shipping. I think the total was €11. Here's a UK link www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1402719973/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Then you can see the others in their suggestions section. The other one I bought on Amazon Italy for about €6 but I see the cheapest offer there now is €16. They have it on the UK Amazon (Romantic Illustrations) for around 10 pounds
