ATTENTION: Around 4:00 I forgot to remove the clip where I had it bugged. The proper workflow is: - Don’t add any user defined elements until you place it down. - Place the blueprint containing the control rig - Add the user defined element - Select the component reference (aka prop) FIRST (if you don’t, it will glitch out). - THEN, select the control that affects that prop

I followed this incredible video and I managed to add real-time timestamp on player UI, which updates every 2-3 seconds. This is very helpful for me because I must know when players are submitting scores and whether they are within the deadline of submission date/time. In the past I had to resort to Real Time Clock device for it but it is very imperfect solution. Keep it up because for us amateurs you are an absolute godsend :-).

Hi! One quick question. At 4:00 the RealTimeProp has glitchy Location and Scale Data and you also mention that. A few seconds after, however, it seemed that you fixed it and that you are now able to actually change the transform part of the Prop. How did you solve that as my Prop has the same issue with the constantly changing transform and scale data.

Meant to remove that section, had to retake this video multiple times. You add the component reference first, then add the control. If no component reference is selected the control affects the root of the blueprint, causing that gross bug

Genius! But I think if Epic wanted date/time in Verse they would have added it. It is not there for a reason. Think they will close this loophole?

There’s a lot they havent added. It’s not there because there were other priorities. As a component of control rig, this isnt something they’ll patch.
