Seems like quite a technical feat. Reminds me of the Sledgehammer video by Peter Gabriel.

What are those cleanplates that you used to remove objects later. Can you elaborate on that?
@SyrpLab4 жыл бұрын
Hey Thomas! After each frame, we removed Chase + all the kit and took a clean shot of the background. This meant when we came to edit, we could mask around any supporting arms, stands etc and replace them with the clean background. This allowed us to make it look like objects were flying, falling or moving on their own. Hope this helps!

@@SyrpLabI'm to experienced to understand your reply. Are you aware of video that would demonstrate how this goes?

I was waiting for this update! Stop motion opens a whole new way to use the syrp system. BUT... When leaving my keyframe section while using stop motion feature, there is no "resume project" option after the latest update. Please check it out and fix it asap :) I think the only thing this system is missing for studio work, not landscape timelapses, is a focus module. But still, I love the system so far.

Hi, are you using Android or iOS?
@invasla5 жыл бұрын
@@SyrpLab android. I tried it again today and now it keeps the project active in order to resume it. I can not replicate the error I encountered yesterday. Another issue is that the starting keyframes differ from the starting position I setup before the keyframe panel. Also after playing the sequence, when the motors return to the starting keyframe, they do some minor back and forth movements before settling to the final position. I suppose I could send you proper feedback using another way than a commend here. Let me know. Thanks.

Interested to know how long your linear worked for on your slingshot, as I used my slingshot with my linear and genie mini a few days ago, and my linear only lasted 3hrs, after setting it up for a 4hr shoot
@SyrpLab5 жыл бұрын
Hi, the slingshot might put more strain on the motors, which might have effect on the battery life. It also depends on your setup. We will do some tests on this.
@amacmedia32215 жыл бұрын
Syrp thank you, I had the linear and genie mini along with a Nikon d810 without the battery grip, and a 28mm 2.8 prime plus a ball head. It was about zero degrees, so I had a hand warmer on top of my linear
