Mate. Brilliant vid. Ive been watching a lot trying to learn and this is the most well explained detailed informative vid ive seen yet. However I have a question, the back of the heel cover shows to be two colours, grey and cream. Am I missing something?
@shoecutterz2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for that feedback man 🙏 many more to come. The cream colour is polyester backing material, its not an essential material but nice to have on certain materials, I may make a seperate series later on to explain that, this one is mainly to just demonstrate the construction process.

Hi great fukn work bro however question ca u explain why u did the polyester backing seems like u put on all pieces so can u break down whats the reason an what pieces need it an is there an alternative to it maybe regular pellon iron on??
@shoecutterz2 жыл бұрын
@BFKUSTOMS BFINESTK hey man, that stuff is to give softer leathers some stabilisation and prevent future sagging, it's not compulsory for all leathers especially if it's thick enough. You could use canvas fabric as an alternative which I have done before

Patterns take the creator an incredibly long time to perfect, as a creator I respect their work too much to even enter the thought of distributing their craft like that. Understand they are not cheap but that's the nature of this craft, if $$ is an issue to acquire patterns you can try Etsy for some very well priced starter practice patterns.
