If she wants that her nails look smaller, i´d recommend to NOT paint the whole nail but leave out a small stripe on both sides. Another idea that crossed my mind is, that she could try to use a darker color on the sides and a slightly lighter one in the middle. For a design i´d recommend everything that underlines the lenghts. So no stripes from side to side, but from cuticle to tip should do the trick! I hope that helps! I will try that out for myself too! I use brushes from an ebay nailart set. You find a lot of products on ebay for a few dollars! You can also buy small detailbrushes in art and crafts store. Just make sure they can handle nailpolishremover.

@Bustinski09 i used dark grey. I think it is mostly better to use dark grey instead of black for tiny details, because it does not look so heavy and rough. But of course you can also use black..it´s just a preference of mine :) xoxo Renie

If you don´t want to spend so much money on polishes, i´d recommend to buy a cheap set of acrylic colors to paint your nails. If you always use a base- and a topcoat, it is totally safe, and you have all colors you want, or you can mix them together! In my opinion it is also easier to draw with these!

@Lovealot0405 i write english ,so everybody can understand: take an old brush with long hairs, that you don´t need much. Then cut a few out, press them together and put a tiny drop of glue on the ends. i took an old ball pen and squeezed a tiny bit of medling clay into the hole then i put the tiny bunch of hairs with the glued end into the hole and voilá it was done.It´s a little bit tricky but works for a while.If hair sticks out, put more clay around them (near the handle).

I´d recommend to meet up with a friend then you can help each other out to draw the other hand. If this is not possible i´d recommend to just use matching colors, or you need to practice until you manage to draw with your non-dominant hand. I´m still practicing :) but it´s getting better every time :)

I´m sorry to hear that, does it not fit because your nails have bigger width than lenght? In that case you could try to draw the design rotated? This could look nice.You know what i mean? Then you had white on your tips ( for the rice) This could work with almost every naillenght
