After having covid I was left with a lot of fatigue. I used to teach 2 to 3 barre class a day and my cardiologist suggested I start with 20 minutes of low impact exercises a day. Like you said acceptance is key and the SELF pillars are easy to understand and apply to your life. I'm doing the 30 day challenge and love your workouts. They are the best 20 minutos of my day!!!

Hi Maria 🙌💯😀 Thank you for your comment! I know how hard it can be getting through it all to the other side of recovery. You will get there though. Always get those medical aspects checked like iron, hormones, and other tests but then lifestyle choices and what I mention here are so important 🙌💯 The SELF method is what I use to help people cover and optimize what they can control in this journey and beyond. Exercise choice during this time is absolutely crucial aswell. Too much and too intensive will set you back greatly. Exercise is important, but not the wrong styles. You need to build progressively. Let me know if you need further help with any of this. Do check out the Adrenal Fatigue Playlist and work from there, it's got a great collection of 'Burnout-Friendly' routines to ensure you are not overdoing stress 😀 Please do subscribe and check out the other tutorials on this Playlist too. Post any questions and I hope to see comments from you on my other videos 🙌💯

When I have the bug, I was trying which exercises that were better in that moment. Maybe, sometimes the fever got up. I've applied the concept "acceptance", but I didn't give up into the ill. I tried to mantain my mood up and got out of "confort zone". Exception of a couple of day with, because I've got stressed and the fever got up. The results were satisfied. The word is resilience with self esteem in the worst moments. I lernt very much with your explanation and the exposed play of words are very mnemotenics. Thank you, Vanessa.

Great overview! I crashed 3 years ago after a hard 130km road bike ride. I have done too much too soon. Since then I'm in sympathetic dominance, poor sleep, anxiety, unable to cope with daily stress etc. I tried so many times to return to easy riding... still no success. Found out that keeping the HR in Zone 1 is the critical. Walking is ok. But as you said , acceptance is the key. Thanks for this video.

Hi Dragos, thank you for your comment here 🤗👌 I am sorry to hear you are facing this and in that sympathetic dominance where everyday things are hard. Totally been there myself. For exercise, try some of the routines on my Adrenal Fatigue Playlist and see how you feel. If they are getting easy, then progress to the Pilates and Resistance Band Playlists and then start working on duration increase. It is important you keep your body as stress free as possible and do nurturing exercise till your energy restores to a decent level. Keep working on your SELF pillars as in this video, you can do this 💯💪 Please let me know if you need any help ok!

This a great simplification to solving this issue. I would love to see this tailored a bit more for women. We are different! We are basically 4 different people (neurochemically) throughout the month based on our hormonal fluctuations. I've been doing research on this lately, to find solutions for women, specifically, and I just can't find it. And sadly, women are much more likely to experience burnout than men. The science isn't there yet to help us.

@@tdyson90 Hi there 😊 I really appreciate your comment 🫶✅️ I totally agree with you that there is so much to be looked at here in relation to our hormones. I too have scoured the internet over many years to try and find more in depth science based information that addresses this issue of fatigue and burnout-related issues where healing this and similar issues is explained. Sadly, there is not much research on it especially for women as you said 😕 When I went through it as a personal trainer I didn't realize hormones played such a role, nor did I when I filmed this video. Having said that, we also need to focus on what we can control and look in depth at our lifestyle factors and basic pillars like sleep duration and quality, stress management and the effects that has on our nervous system and hormones, the right exercise and food choices. So even if we consider hormones (which do need heavy consideration) we need to look at why we are getting to these stages of burnout in the first place. This is my opinion and based on listening to the best nutritionists, scientists, endocronologists and life coaches...but I believe it's more in our control than we think and that lifestyle factors and emotional health need to be at the crux of healing. The medical doctors and hormonal experts add to this. And of course if there is a medical or hormonal issue that needs addressing women need to get this looked at by an appropriate professional 💯 How are going yourself? I'd love to hear how you are and support on your journey x I am on Instagram @vanessabhealth and just did a post on Stress + Weight Gain if you are interested to check it out 🫶

In that case some meditation or a light stretch at a slow pace may be all you need right now. Meditation is proven to help positively change our stress and brain when done regularly. The deep breathing in itself will help your parasympathetic nervous system. Do consult with your doctor as to the best course of action for you ok ✨️🫶✅️
