Hi, thanks for the tips, I have Cubase sx3 in win7 64bit, running ok with 32bit plugins.Followed ALL your tips but when I open a jBridged Vst it runs bypassed and there is no way to bypass clicking the bypass button.Tried to change on/off the options in jbridge settings (low in the left of the vst window) but also if now it is no more bypassed it doesn't work and after few seconds Cubase crashes. Just used JBridge. It is the truth. Comared to IL (Image Line) Bridge 32 which crashes in Hypersonic upon Content Location. Unfortunately you can only load 1 bridged wrapper instance of a program at a time. Idk what happens if they differ.

+Asaf Kurtz If you have some (older) plugins and they don't show up in your 64 bit program they are probably only 32 bit. If you don't miss any plugins, don't worry about it. Modern plugins usually come in both versions.

hi there. Waves is a little special. did you try to convert the shell wrapper as well? I have 2 waves fx that I got to work somehow but I can't remember what I exactly did. But afaik Waves offers 64 bit versions of their plugins, so you might just need to update your plugins...

You can install any 32 bit program on any 64 bit Windows without doing anything special, Windows runs them in 32 bit mode (you'll see "x86" or "32 bit" next to their name in the task manager)

You only can bridge plugins not programs itself. I have exactly the same setup and I use rewire-xt's rewire vst plugin, which you can bridge to 64 bit and it runs pretty smooth rewiring reason. Hope this helps ;)

Every time I run this on Prosoniq vsts I get a message "No 64bit bridging files created (6 sub-directories scanned, looking for 32bit plugins)" All my other vsts worked like a charm. These Prosoniq ones fail every time. I can use them in my 32 bit Ableton Live 8, but I need it in my Live 9 64bit. Yes I ran this in Admin btw. Any help would be appreciated.

There's a little mistake in the tutorial. Please watch on a desktop computer I added comments to the video that you can't see on the mobile version. If you already saw the comment it might be your plugin isn't bridgeable. Usually 9 out of 10 plugins work though.

Ok a few basics to make it easier to understand. Program files x86 = 32 bit applications and plugins. Program files = 64 bit apps and plugins. You're running a 64 bit host, so to make 32 plugins work you need to bridge them. So your source are 32 plugins in the x86 folder that will be bridged (create bridging files for 32 bit plug-ins) into the 64 bit folder. So you need to make sure the final bridged files are located in program files. Then rescan the vst folder in program files with ableton. Hope this helps

Yep. I understand which files are which. And ive done all of these steps and it doesnt come up on ableton. The bridged files are showing in the program files -> vst folder but wont scan. Ive even tried both versions of the demo. Sorry i didnt explain this before.
