The combination of your level of prowess and your willingness to teach well and clearly is a rare thing. Generally people would charge an arm and a leg to share this type of expertise, but you simply make the world better by sharing what you know for free. That's the mark of a good heart. Thanks for doing what you do.

I love how you use as little 'theory language' as possible and more of 'show and tell' approach to explain yourself absolutely killing it on the keys. No long explanations, no mind bending theories, just simple grooves and rythms. On top of that a lot to learn from and improve. May God continue to bless you with growth and knowledge ❤

Your tutorials are truly unparalleled. So practical and exactly what a player like me looks for. It’s easy to find loads of theory lessons but most of it is in a jazz context and it’s hard to find good advice on how to actually groove in a non jazz setting and your tips are always spot on

Thank you for this awesome video! For someone who is not a musician like me, this is the best way to spend the evening after work. Forget about watching tv or any other kind of passive consumption, do something that is a hell lot of fun to do instead, and in the meanwhile develop a skill that remains for a lifetime.

Great video buddy. I have been self learning for 3 year's. Started due to the pandemic. And and head illness. Wanted to keep my cognitive abilities up due to having brain fog with memory problems. I found everything hard. Had a ns bang on the head a year later and for some weird reason, everything was easy. 2 years later I have wrote 80 plus song's. Learned manyb of my song's. " I can't make u love me " Jamie foxx ", heaven " to name a a few. I Nedd to learn more left handed stuff. Not due to myself finding it difficult. Just I need to take it to next level. Enjoyed your video very well. Great stuff 👌

I love how you stick to the scale with your right hand so that we can focus on the voicings of the left hand. With scalechanges you would come across even more advanced but i wouldn't get what you are saying at all. I will groove on this pedalthing in cm! Nice things to try out!!

This time i am not late to watch your great tutorial. Funny : yesterday just practiced again your “” 5 hot licks to sound clever “” video after a long pause in my Matt Johnson licks and today just get another great tutorial. May i ask u if you could make some midifiles compilation of the little songs you always play in the intro of all your tutorial? They are always great to listen and play . Anyway still the best of the best Utube channel ( with the one from Anthony Marinelli , more focused on sound design ) . Thanks a lot for your time , patience, and kindness. Cheers from France , philippe

Ironically I am left-handed and my left hand is very weak on keyboard playing. I decided to try something different and bought a ukulele and learned to play it right-handed. I noticed that although I can manage some chords I am really struggling with the fingering for some of them. Now I have small hands so I'm finding it hard to understand why I'm struggling so much with my left on both the uke and the keyboard. It doesn't help that I'm also now having to deal with arthritis in my left shoulder too. Watching this has made me think about just doing some playing exercises on the keys just using my left until such time as I can get some confidence and strength there. I've never had formal lessons. Maybe that is my mistake? What I would give to just have 10% of your skill on the keys. Luckily, I'm not a quitter so I will be keeping on at it.
