The detector rail placed at 16:26 needs to be on the full block next to the piston (thats the case for all moduls) !!! I´ve changed the worlddownload so the error is fixed there. Thanks for this clarification! It worked on a 4 stall that I tested but as soon as I made it into 30 stalls it broke and I decided to check the comments for a fix to this!

i haven't built this in my world yet but after watching the showcase and the tutorial as well as looking through the world download, this is a very well thought out and reliable design. looking forward to having it on my small smp.

I was using Mumbo's tradinghall design for 3 years now with a 10+10 set up and not big enough to my liking. Stumbled on your design yesterday. i am converting to your design now wit probably a 20+20 set up. Nice showcase and tutorial. You earned my sub with it !! Also the rail tutorial was a nice refresher.Greatings aus Holland ;)

@@megatronic_ update; finishes the conversion from my old tradinghal to your system. Made a parallel 20+20 slot setup. The only thing i had to change was the locking mechanism with the repeaters as you showed. Also the default positions of the cauldrons ( up or down ) was directional but after a couple of taps on the noteblocks everything works like a charm. Nice to see the build on your Ostercrack server.

Super cool design! Can I ask what part of this makes it so it wouldn’t work on bedrock? Are there any workarounds for this?

Thanks! Im using the block "spitting" mechanic on for instance the cauldrons. That mechanic is not part of the Bedrock Edition. Sadly im not familiar with Bedrock so i just can assume there are workarounds for it.

Is it just me or is the litematica schematic different than the build in the video? I had started building according to the tutorial and wanted to check something so I loaded the schematic and it seems that the floor is on a different level and there are some differences.

I love this design idea with it being modular and all but I play on bedrock mostly so I'm taking the time to reverse engineer most of the redstone so I will work on bedrock using your design as a base

I actually started on it yesterday in creative and with using some t flip flops I was able to remake the logic and I have the first side of it done 25 stalls per side I just have to add the top rails and build the other side along with the zombie conversion chamber and connect it all together

Hi! Love the tutorial but I have a quick question... When you connect through the sides (the part where you say someone commented on your video that it wasn't working) I did it but the signal (or at least the torches I see that turned off) don't go all the way to the start of my hub, can I fix that?

Hey there, yeah you can just add a repeater to make the signal go further. Just watch out to not put it where there is crossing with the other redstonelines!

I wanted to ask about the back part if i make it longer wont the redstone not be able to reach that piston?

You can just add repeaters ever so often do extend the reach of the redstone line. Just make sure the repeaters are not directly below an observer.

is it possible to move the placement of the piston(the one where the villager is place to drop, the one under the workstations of villagers) on like the left or right side of the drop(where villagers fall to be brought to the zombification chamber) so that you can place magma cube under the villager workstation rather than piston? if my question is rather complicated to understand please mention it, i'll try to change my explanation. i'm not really good at english lol. Thank youu

I get what you want i think ;) yes that should be possible, but it would make some things more complicated... the wireing for the locking would need changes. And you might have to move the buttons accordingly, which could make it confusing, what button go to what villager.

Love your videos but for some reason I cant get the sticky piston at the zombie chamber to work properly it keeps double activating and causing the my villager to not be released. Every think looks right i just don't understand whats wrong. Anyones help would be much appreciated.

When I place my piece of string it is not orientated as seen in the video its sideways rather than right toward the observer will this matter

Yes you can fix it by changing the default state of the cauldrons. Check out my FAQ video i explain it there :)

Currently working with your design, I'm not a redstone pro and was wondering what the composter was for at the start of the first trading slot. You did not show that in this tutorial and used only cauldrons.

Im sorry for the confusion, in my FAQ video i placed the composter there, to show that the cauldrons are changable to composters if that fits your needs better. I does not matter which you choose either works :)

Do we have to make the whole thing again (except the zombification chamber) or just continue it with the rails and the villagers if we need to increase the number of villagers in it. I didn't really get it because I'm not a redstone expert like mumbo lol.

You need to make the contraption for every villager holding cell you add. Ive build 6 of those in the video when you want like 40 you have to build 40 of those. You can see that at 12:48 thats the look from the outside of a 42 villager tradinghall

Im having a small issue with the auto potion setup. Im guessing its a mistake on my part but im hoping someone here may know the answer. The auto brewer isnt restarting after the potions are used, i have to put a bottle into the brewering stand to kickstart it again. Can this little hive mind here help maybe?

Sadly im not to much into auto brewers, thats why i just copyed the design from ImpulseSV. Maybe check out his tutorial to find a possible mistake you made. But it sounds like the compareter at the hopper down below is the problem.

How does the zombification sensor work, does the string trigger a second time when the villager is transformed?

I think the villagers are a bit taller, so they trigger the string and extends the piston, holding the villager in place. When it is converted the a zombie villager, it is shorter and no longer touches the string, therefore releasing it.

the railing in front of the comparator goes the wrong way when activated by the cauldron, I can't figure out a way to fix it . It's literally reverse to what you have it.

Anyone have a fix for the villagers just being pushed straight out of the zombie chamber before being turned ? It appears that when they enter, the force of the powered rail is so high that they instantly change direction

The powered rail should turn off and stop the Villager in the zombiechamber once he entered it. Make sure you placed the string in front of the observer to detect the villager.

Built this and the zombification works great, however, the villagers seem to have a lot of trouble restocking and I'm not sure why. Any suggestions? They are attached to the workstation in front of them and I have tried removing and replacing it but they won't restock. Great farm design otherwise!

Sometimes the villagers can struggle with that, but once its fixed it shouldnt happen again. Try to seal the villagers completly. Let them stay sealed for a while (needs to be daytime in minecraft) after some time they should take the workstation infront of them. This can take several minutes since the AI can be stubborn with trying to pathfind

@@megatronic_ doesn't work :/ They simply refuse to restock. Villagers that I haven't traded with seem to have little problem accepting their new workstations, but ones I've traded with haven't restocked in over 4h of playtime, no matter if fully encased or not. I'm half tempted to remove the redstone etc on those cells where I reduced them to one gem and put beds in and remove the carts. Or maybe I'll completely overengineer it with carts dispensed when needed only and breaking them upon coming back or something. I dread the time and materials spent on that tho ^^

@@maximilian672 sadly, there is an bug in 1.19 where this can happen. This would be the case with any design. Ive seen some players claim that, bringing them to the nether an back, would fix it. But i havent tryed that myself and can neither confirm nor deny that. So you could try that but i cant promise it will work.

@@megatronic_ I think I might have stumbled upon what is happening there. It seems that the AI is able to claim a workstation it has no access to thus rendering this workstation unusable for the villager actually able to path to it. If I remove all workstations and place them all new, the villages eventually reset to the right workstations (not instantly though, weirdly enough)

I built this on a server I play in. is anyone having issues with the villager skipping the slot it came from and running all the way to the last stall?? minecart also triggering several of the detector rails as it passes.

I am sorry to hear that, this is cause i made an error in the tutorial. The detector rail needs to be moved by one block. You can check it out in the pinned comment or in the FAQ video on my channel

I love the tutorial! But, I have one problem with the farm. I placed all the rails the right way and the directionality is fixed, but when the minecart travels over the rails on the top it activates all the activator rails and messes with all the cauldrons and rails. I need helpp :)

It was working. Farm is bigger than the two redstone blocks can handle so I had to put a two way repeater in the center to get it to work. But now as the zombies villagers travel they activate every single activator rail and won't go in the correct one. They choose a random one. I have suspicions that it is server issues but irritating just the same.

How many villagers per side can this hold before its too large?

Well technically you could make it as big as you want. You need to add more repeaters for the locking and at some point you would need to add an additional splash potion dispenser but i dont think there would be a limit. When you go completly wild you should add chunk loaders to make the redstone work but i think that would be way more anyone ever needs :D

I´ve just used cauldrons since ironfarms are pretty easy to make. You could totally use composters, just make sure they are not empty!

Hi Mega, I’m having trouble with getting a double pulse on the locking line so it never actually locks. I get one pulse from each edge of the button press. How do I fix this?

Hm do you get any signal down to the redstone that leads to the locking? Or is the monostable (the thing that puhes up a block and spits out the redstone block) not working?

The mono stable bit is pulsing twice. Sorry, didn’t realize I forgot to actually post this until today. I fiddled with it for an hour or so and ended up adding a Circuit Breaker to each side which seems to have resolved the issue for me.

When the villagers fall back into their cells after being zobiefied and cured they then are falling out the minecart and from underneath i can see their legs through the piston, because of this they are not able to reach their workstation to restock

In my test world the villagers gets stuck in wall by the piston next to the zombie. Is this a bug of my world or a commen issue?

Choose a Modul by pressing the button infront of it and then send the villager into the System after the zombiefier. It is also part of the FAQ video i made ;)

I just love this trading hall and it works fine. But I have one big problem I don't know how to deal with. The zombie keeps killing my villagers and then the minecarts come back empty. Am I doing something wrong? Can someone help me with this?

The villager transformation only works 100% in hard difficulty, 50% in normal and 0% in easy

the cauldrun seems to not allow the villagers to accept a new job please help

Make sure you havent locked the villagers profession by trading with him. If he is not locked he should take the workstation infront of him in his holding cell. This sometimes takes some time since the AI trys to pathfind. Also make sure its ingame daytime.

I built it sideways instead of North-south cause I was unaware it was directional. I managed to fix the broken side by moving the comparator down one block, so it reverses the cauldron signal; so the rail turns to let a villager in when the cauldron is up. But I cant get the locking system to work properly and the whole system doesnt seem to recognise which button was pressed so the villager goes back into the same slot. Not sure where I've gone wrong, or if these are all issues from building it East to west. I've built it with 46 villager slots total, on an SMP Server, so Ireally dont wanna have to tear it down and start again, this took like 2 days. Does anyone know of a way to make the whole hall work facing East-West? *Any help would be greatly appreciated*

The fix for the rails is indeed the default Position of the cauldrons, check the rails by powering and depowering them. The state they have after that is what you have to work with. The fix for the locking System is in the Video at 12:00 i am not aware of any other directional issues.

When going down the left side which goes East-West it'll sometimes just not turn, even when the rail under it is turned right.

I used the world download from when this was made and copied it, with the repeaters in the locking system as shown in this video. However, the locking system still doesn't work

@@AAR0NWE1R hm sounds like something went wrong while building. Im also not sure if lowering the compereter is a way to fix it... maybe you should undo that again und move the cauldrons instead

@@megatronic_ I have now adjusted it so that the cauldrons are up on the left by default when the cart isn't turned to take in a new villager and the comparator is where it started. But it still doesnt work. The turned rail doesnt even turn the cart and it continues forward sometimes, not sure how that even works Currrently watching my mending villager zoom passed its chamber, even though the rail is turned to take it in!

Since when they dont restock in minecarts? ;) they do! If you have issue with the villagers restocking, its a problem of the AI trying to go to another workstation. You can either enclose the villager completly, so he takes the workstation infront of him. Or you can remove and replace the workstations of that type of villager. You normaly only have to do this once. I hope this helps!

I really love this design however I'm having an issue with the villagers not being able to drop down when the pistons retract. No matter what I try they don't fall through. This then locks the system as it is waiting for the villager to come back after being zombified. Has anybody else experienced this?

Havent seen that so far... even stone buttons should work. If you are using stone buttons you could try using wooden buttons, they give a longer signal

​@@megatronic_ Well, when I press a button the system doesn't lock, so I can just press another button and clog up the whole thing. I tried to find the issue, but the only thing I saw is that when I press a button and the piston pushes a block up, the redstone signal won't get interrupted if I press another button.

@@Hitme2 when you press the first button the redstone line under the floor should be powered. Make sure you have the monostables right

@@Hitme2 i am sorry i wanted to say depowered. The line needs to be depowered to lock the pistons, since there are torches to power them and they get deactivated by that line.

That is most of the a problem with the workstation, the villager propably tries to get to a different one, than the one in Front of him. I cover that topic in my FAQ video, you can find it on my channel or in the pinned comment!

I have an Iron farm with a trading hall underneath, I want to try to incorporate your design into the iron farm, but since the iron farm is a square I will see if i can get it to work with the amount of villagers I have, without changing the design of the iron farm too much :) wish me luck.

To make that work you need i think 18 Blocks between the villagers of the iron farm and the build underneath. Orherwise the irongolems would spawn on the build below.

​@@megatronic_ The beds are the crucial point to the iron farm, the beds are floating under the iron farm, so the golems spawn above them. If i place my own bed inside trading hall, which is underneath the iron farm, the golems spawn inside and outside the trading hall. My biggest problem with getting your build to work is the double tick on the observer after pressing the button to send the villager to the zombie.

@@gubisoul thats why there are the sticky pistons spitting out the block. The first tick gets through the block the second tick cant cause the block is liftet up. It should work just fine if you follow the tutorial. BUT this does not work on bedrock edition!

Make sure you play on hard difficulty. Only then a villager has a 100% chance to be turned into a zombie!

Yo, really cool design, I'm going to be using this but with a variation - ianxofour's voidless void trading. Basically, the villagers will be cured and cheapened before being put in the trading hall, and each side of the trading hall will lock the villager in place so you can only select one from each side at a time. When I press the button for a villager on the left, they will be sent to the end of a rail for the voidless void trading, then I can press a button for a villager on the right to be sent to the opposite side. Then essentially you go back and fourth trading endlessly with the villagers, and when you're done you just press a button and they each get sent back to the sides they came from. I might make a video on this and include you and ianxofour as a reference in that video, I'll let you know how it goes.

Started to build this not knowing it was starting at what would be under ground and hidden....I thought it was the ground level where the villagers would be. Good thing I wasn't far into it. Might be good to mention for future reference.

I havent thought about that, next time i make an tutorial ill remember to mention what part of the build im showing or building. I would still recommend to watch the whole video before starting to build something. I also uploaded an FAQ video about the tradinghall were i show the needed space and other stuff, maybe that helps too.

First of all, im curious on why you cant use noteblocks on a Server? But i can help you! :) Check out my new video, the design for bedrock doesnt use noteblocks. It works on Java too! I dont recommend the transformation chamber shown in the bedrock video for a Java player since its bigger and slower. But the rest is works very nice in both versions.

I think the easiest way is to hook up your villager breeder and connect it after the transformation chamber. Then choose a chamber to send the villager in and finaly send the villager in.

@@SrikiGaming for the brewer its best to check out ImpulseSV. It is his design. But if you just fill the droppers you can brew up to 1700+ poitions. I think that will be enough for quite a while

Make sure its daytime (in minecraft) if they keep struggeling to take the workingstation infront of them, try to seal them in complety and give them a few minutes. Sometimes the AI can be kinda weird and they try to pathfind even tho they cant move.

@@asdf12345447 have you checked the pinned msg? Ive made a mistake with the detector rails, that could be the problem. Otherwise double check the observer orientation.
