Greg- Why only the overhand knots for the top few and then the standard below that? Why not overhand the rest of the way? Keeps it too tight? Love the vids and the way you guys share the knowledge on this. Leading the evolution of stringing.

Yes this is a 9D top string pattern for sure. With a 10D top the pocket would be deeper and lower

@@ECD I have a similar question about my Mirage 2.0. If I want a quicker, more consistent, crisp release than my current Costabile replica shifty-mid pocket, what alterations might be advantageous? The ball retention and catching softness is currently amazing, so I’d hate to sacrifice that too much. Does the shifting nature of the mesh in the Costabile replica simply make for a slightly slower release?

It's a standard 9D top string, except you go between the folds of the mesh

I love my mirage, but when I strung this it was over channeled so I had to move my knots down one sidewall hole. Is there any reason why?

One super important part about these pockets is to break the corners in really well so loosen up the channel a bit.

How do you know the tension on shooters so there is minimal whip? Why do some guys have one shooter vs. 2?

We found one shooter to work best for most players when we have tested this pocket out. Your shooting strings should lay flat and feel loose when talking about the tension in them. If they get too tight then you know they will force the ball down when you shoot you want them to be super consistent.
