Ive been following your channel before buying my first synth, I decided to go for the electribe 2 sampler, old sister of the volcas and now I'm planning to record. Thanks for the videos they are inspiring and helpful! Keep the good work!

I also love volca and respect you. I always look forward to your video updates. I record the volca sound on a cassette tape MTR. This video was very helpful. Thank you very much for your valuable information. My favorite is the volca bass. I always look forward to your videos🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Best channel for learning how to use Volcas! I have the Bass, FM, Sample and NTS-1 all modified with Li-on battery and charger. (The power supply connector are not standard) I use a micro mixer MX-600 which works perfectly with his all stereo jack input. Super compact setup: no adapters, only mini stereo cables!

That is a nice setup. Cool with the mods! 😀

nice video thanks ....Goldwave is very old school..I used it years ago ......personally I dont bother splitting the volca outputs to separate channels on my mixer volcas are not really stereo outputs Both channels on the volca stereo output are exactly same. However i do for the volca beats because of the low output from the beats ......Also if you use the beats a lot i suggest you do the snare mod on circuit board ...it makes the snare sound so good ..there are instructions on youtube to do it...Why do u record with effects ? you can add these later on your DAW ..if goldwave has vst effects

Interesting video! Just curious, any reason why you're not using 3.5 jack to 2 x 6.35 mono jack cables? Then you wouldn't need to go via RCA and using additional adapters, reducing one chain in the loop (or is the phrase "loop in the chain", hmm).
@AdamVoxMusic5 ай бұрын
Simply because it is easier to get 3.5 to RCA cables... no other reason... 😅

Interesting approach to mastering. Note that you need to match levels in the comparasion because human brain thinks that louder is better. Anyway cool tutorial and result sounds good.

Yes, mastering load is popular, but not always best. 😊

This video is worth the weight of all the Volcas in gold. So helpful! Thank you so much. I'm actually thinking of ordering this week two new pieces of gear to use with my Volcas, the Tascam Portacapture X8 to record and the Intuitive Instruments Exquis to just help me play more easily and expressively. Hoping they're good with the Volcas, and overall! By the way, what do you think of the Volca Mix?

Thanks for the comment! Sounds like you have some fun stuff ahead of you! 😊 I havn't tried the Volca Mix yet. I have to do that some day.

Not sure whether I like the mastered version better Adam. Sounds a bit "bright" to me compared to the more subtle sounds of the original. Maybe it's just my ears! Still, very interesting as per usual 🙂🤖

Yes, the original also has its charm. Maybe the best would be a mix between the versions! 😊

I dont get, the nts1 how is connected. Only to volca base? Also how you connect the mixer to the pc? You send all the separate channels? Or the final mixed output channel of the mixer
@AdamVoxMusic27 күн бұрын
If I remember correct, the NTS-1 is on the Fx send and return of the mixer. Only the main out of the mixer is connected to the computer.
