You are so welcome! I made this tutorial because I could not find a decent one on KZbin, either it was too far away and couldn't tell what they were doing or was not descriptive enough to do it or just showed it but didn't tell you how to make it. Hope you enjoy making it. 😁😃

Krystal, I am tweaking mine a little bit, I had some silver Rondell ball beads and it actually blocks the seed beads #10 from going thru the plastic canvas strip. So we will see if I can get any more of the silver Rondell bead balls went away from using the crimp beads

I made the spinner today. BUT, you said to cut 3 lengths of wire at 30" each. one the first outside edge, I ran out of wire about 5 pieces from the bottom. I hope the splicing I did will hold. I suggest at least 36" on the two outside wires. Thanks for your easy tutorial!!!!
@krystaltheyarnychicken2 жыл бұрын
Oh no, I am so sorry that happened. I should of said something if you are using bigger beads or bigger pieces ajust the length. I sure hope it holds. I can try and put a note at the top of the tutorial stating use longer wire. Again I am sorry and thank you for the suggestion!!! You are most welcome.

I used pony beads, but same 29 hole plastic. Thanks for the prompt reply.
@krystaltheyarnychicken2 жыл бұрын
@@carolynbrooks364 You are most welcome. I used seed beads/ jewlery beads on mine... thats where the difference in wire length came into play.

I made these twenty years ago and I have a suggestion for all-if you put a fishing jig spinner on the end it allows it to spin continuously. I forgot all about these. You did a great tutorial. On the outside I did crimp bead color bead and put back through crimp bead and feed through original three beads,pull tight and crimp. Then cut underneath.Krystal I hope you dont mind my suggestions. I would not be hurt if you edit them out.

Hi Krystal thank you so much for this tutorial...It is such a quick little craft so it will be something this ole lady can finish and have a bit of my pride back of accomplishment actually completing something as due to age & medical issues it's hard to complete anything these days....Sorry for rambling on. I do have two questions about supplies. Size of wire? And is there a size on the crimp tubes as well?😊
@krystaltheyarnychicken Жыл бұрын
Hi there Renee. Thanks so much. You can use any materials you would like but the size of the wire I used is .018in/0.46mm, the crimp tubes were Cousin brand and I did not see a size on the package. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful weekend.

This is a cool question? Can you use the barrel swivel that would help turn the spinner better?
@krystaltheyarnychicken Жыл бұрын
It's sure possible it might work. I only used the items I had on hand. You could try it, no harm in trying. Let me know if it works and if it does I will add the suggestion to my description box.
@lovesrosegardens1985 Жыл бұрын
They are located in the fishing aisle and I was wondering if it would work as you would take a crimp bead for the bottom loop and do the same cut off after you crimp the end back in and do the same at the top loop. It was a vision that hit me. I am thinking red white and blue spinner for me
@krystaltheyarnychicken Жыл бұрын
@@lovesrosegardens1985 I would certainly try it. I know tons of people would do different things.

I've got a problem, I don't have red or blue canvas or crimps or barrel swivels like I thought. Is there anyone you know could help me find these and help me out Krystal

Krystal, I am so sorry to bother you again, but I followed your link for ravelry. I was wanting to purchase the actual pattern for this twirler as I'm going to have my great-granddaughter come over so her and I can make these together. The pattern for this has been absolutely impossible for me to find in written form so I can print it off. Are you by any chance able to please put it back on ravelry or somewhere so I can get it? Thank you
@krystaltheyarnychicken Жыл бұрын
Hi Renee, I am sorry I never had a written pattern for this. It is not my design so I can not claim it on a pattern. If you change the video to a slower speed it might help show what I am doing or make the video full screen.

Hint take a piece of pipe cleaner and lay them out how you want them to be and do the center on the cleaner and as you go just pull it right off at the center

You can find it at Hobbly Lobby. If you dont have a Hobby Lobby, I am sure Michaels or JoAnns carries them or you can even find it to order online.
