I really love your video. I've watched it quite a few times. One quick question. Everytime we shut the computer off, we come back and have to reload our cues. What are we doing wrong?
@alisonrhodes53103 жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for this very helpful ☺️ please tell me what determines the time amount between triggering the 2nd thunder. The first thunder stops then it seems it is a couple of seconds before the 2nd thunder is triggered, even though auto continue is on the first cue in the list. Cheers, Ali.

Thank you for the great video! It is really helpful for the show I am doing. How do you add audio files to play underneath video files in QLAB?
@hirogarimusic2 жыл бұрын
Trigger both the audio and video files simultaneously
@lailakeadan2 жыл бұрын
@@hirogarimusic Thank you for replying! Do you trigger both of them at the same time by clicking on "duck audio" under the triggers tab?
@hirogarimusic2 жыл бұрын
@@lailakeadan You can create a group so they all fire at the same time

How do I record both the screen and sound like you have here?

I’m recording the output of the computer and the microphone I’m narrating with into a separate recorder and syncing up the video later in premiere.

Please don't auto-number your cues. Also, you should rarely, if ever, set a level at a +number. You risk damaging your system. Levels with a proper dynamic range should be set at your board, and audio files should be normalized, so that you never have to go above unity.
@hirogarimusic5 жыл бұрын
Auto-number exists for a reason, and there’s also a reason why you can increase the gain of samples past unity in the first place. I think you need to be recognisant of the context that this is a ‘quick and dirty’ how-to for people with no audio background, just to get them comfortable with using QLab,
