Hi, so if i use CNC NGRS gearbox by RetroArms, can i use it in all above mentioned models (SOPMOD M4, HK416 and HK417 by TM)?

Any advice on if the piston is stuck out the back of the gearbox

just turn the bevel gear half a turn and it will move the piston back enough to now push forwards

You need to twist off the old piston head while gripping the piston body with a cloth or rag.

hi, I have an hk416c, is the gearbox the same? I would also like to ask you which components to use to bring power as close to 1 joule of power as possible. I do not use gusts, only single shots or controlled gusts.

i just bought a M90S prometheus spring and prometheus spring guide for my TM m4 next gen. it said will produce around 340fps. whether it is save if i use the stock part in the internal parts? (gearset, piston, piston head). if i broke this part which better lonex or shs (prometh just to pricey)?. i have heard that the bettel AOE between piston and gear teeth is when it used with the same brand (prometh gear with prometh piston). what if i combined between lonex gear and shs piston, would it be better composition?

I tried Lonex 5.9 bearings, very tight fit, and standard gears wouldn't spin freeley, now in the bin

i would have modded the gears to fit the bushings some times gun tech is more than just fitting parts and hoping they work.

Could you please make a video showing how to reassemble the tm next gen m4? i'm having trouble getting the gearbox into the lower receiver, when i tried to force it i broke the bolt release assembly...

I will do. The trick is the move the selector to the left position. Drop the gearbox in. Move the selector to the right position. Lift the front up and drop the bolt release in. Then install the trigger pin.

This might be an odd question, but can the hk416 recoil shock gearbox fit inside a vfc hk416 and possible replace its gearbox?

Tm uses a none ported method, always have.

Carlos Vreal a ported head ensures you don’t have compression loss and helps with consistency

twist off the head with a cloth. if that wont then drill the head in the middle to uncover the hidden screw. if your local pop in and i will do it for you.

yup drill if it doesnt uncrew.. to be fair only about 1 in 10 unscrew.

You can use some aeg springs, it's all about final compressed length, there are specific springs available from eagle6 though on the website.

i saw this specific form eagle6, but can i use classic SP120 130 from guarder for example? Or it is not compatible

+paťo ďurina I have no idea on all the different brand aeg springs every spring is a different length. I have heard the sp90 works. Try it and see.
