I’ve made my “Pallas beauty case” as a handbag in the same way! Yes, it may a bit expensive as a Slg, but the size is so generous (same as pallas bb or slightly bigger) so with strap it does look like a normal handbag! It has a front pocket, and washable interior, just a perfect bag for this corona days :)

Thank you for demonstrating this in real time! I’m such a visual person and that was the one thing missing from the rest of the videos I watched about converting the pouch into a bag. With your help and Maria’s, I finally got it! I second your comments - don’t give up! It seems like the D-rings are too big but they are the perfect size. I took a screw driver and gently pushed it through before putting in the D-rings to make the leather more manageable. I was so worried about scratches on the canvas but thank goodness I made it out alive! 😅

I had recently transformed my noe pouch. Fixing up LV pouches into shoulder bags is really fun, much like playing lego. Wish LV had not stopped selling the toiletries pouches - taking away diy fun from us. Great video ❤️

I watched your LV bag collection and noticed that you mentioned you transferred this cosmetic pouch to a crossbody bag, then I looked on LV website, of course it was not available! The next day I was shopping in Bloomingdales, when passed by the LV boutique in Bloomingdales, I asked the sales association if they have it, lucky me they had one there, so I bought it watched Maria’s video and ordered the same D- ring and a chain, then now I have it as a super cute crossbody bag! Just a FYI for headphone users your audio on this video during the intro is only coming through on one side. Not sure if it’s a front facing camera setting or some other setting but i wanted to let you know! I kept reconnecting my AirPods but once i tried a different video, I realized it’s just your video. it changes and is fine once you’re holding the camera and showing your items/tools.

I saw you bought this and I ordered it. I did return mine a few weeks ago. I don’t like it as a purse. It’s a cosmetic bag. In my personal opinion it just makes me think people can’t afford a bag and that’s why they are buying a cosmetic (makeup bag) and using it as a purse. I know people don’t have lots of money to purchase a bag but personally I would not. I didn’t want to keep it sitting on my bathroom counter either. I decided I wouldn’t use it. I do have the 26 & 19 Toiletry bags as well. 😁

Lol. I like using a cosmetic pouch as a crossbody because they are small. The small "actual purse" bags that LV offers have flaps, which are not my favorite. I prefer a zipper closure and the cosmetic pouches are adorable crossbody bags.

Here’s another thought, If you can actually afford to spend $600 plus on a cosmetic pouch especially given you can buy one for around $1, maybe people buy this because they are comfortable using it because its made to carry a majority of the things people would carry in a purse but with the added bonus of being compact, yet wide zippered opening to remove items easily and it’s practical because it wipes clean. But to each their own, I appreciate that she is sharing how to make it versatile whether you choose to keep it on a counter, in a purse, under your arm or wear it as a cross body or shoulder bag.
