Hi Roland, congratulations on all the videos, especially the latest ones. Really very interesting.

Hallo, Thank you for nice tutorials. I would like to ask that is it also same for enginnering data of pure shear and compression to true SS curves conversion? Can i use thr same formula for the pure shear and compression case?

Thank you for the clear explanation. One remark: How is it possible that the stress decreases during necking in the True Stress - Strain curve?

makes actually no sense, i guess it is better to delete the points where the stresses decrease in order to prevent the Prof. from asking this kind of question :)

Dear Dr Wagner is it possible to simulate brittle damage for beam elements in ABAQUS?
@hnrwagner3 жыл бұрын
hmm dont know yet, I think i may not work because, the element have no element deletion option on abaqus

@@hnrwagner Thanks so much for your input. I am assuming this would be the same for ductile damage on beam elements. I have a massive network of nanofibers that I wanted to simulate damage on in abaqus using beam elements. I was researching the documentation but so far have not found any way to do this(I guess it is not possible). In any case your tutorials are most helpful and awesome! Thank you so much!

Is this method applicable for load deflection curve ?
