[Tutorial] Unbrick/ Install Stock ROM on Galaxy Ace s5830i

In this video I show you how to fix your bricked ace s5830i. Ive made this video for all those people who watched my previos video on how to install ICS on the s5830i and bricked their phone. But you can also follow this tutorial if you simply want to revert back to stock samsung gingerbread xxla2 rom, since custom roms have many bugs. So i hope this video helps you guyz and im really sorry for all those people who bricked their phone following my video.

I thought my phone was bricked as I could not even get into download mode. The crucial piece of info stopping this was that you had to press both the volume up and down buttons at the same time, I was only pressing down. Phone restored phew, thanks little dude!

SOLVED REBOOT PROBLEM!!! Thanks. But I had a lot of problems with continous rebooting. I just restarted the phone in recovery mode and choose factory reset from there. That solved the problem.

there's no PDA.TAR, just 'PDA_S5830i_XXLI1.tar.md5' inside the 'S5830i_XXLI1_ODDLI1_DDLI1_by_SplitFUS2.zip' and doesnt work.

Thanks. Good clean versions of Odin and the stock ROM - other guides have had messy packaged downloaders with loads of s**t in them. Clear instructions and a working phone again.

i have ace s5830 and when i want to get into recovery mode shows samsung logo and writes RAMDUMP Mode (ARM9 mode) Any idea how to get into recovery mode? I also when i want to get into downloading mode it write Downloading and i connected phone to comp. and start odin, odin recognized phone and i start with the process, process is begin but then somewhere just stay and nothing happens. please help

IF you can't get into download mode then your phone is virtually dead, aka Hard Brick, also the GT-S5830 downlaod mode is rather diifcult to access

If you are suck in a bootloop, just switch off the phone by holding the power button until all lights are off then start the phone in recovery mode then just wipe cache

Ive downloaded both but the winzip file is listed as 'S5830i_XXLI1_ODDLI1_DDLI1_by_SplitFUS2' from the download link and the Odin doenst find it as its not PDA file. When I extract it there are 3 or 4 different PDA files. But the zip is not as per the video where the winzip file is listed as PDA and will open, Any help anyone on the step I seem to be missing

If it's not connecting, keep trying different cables and USB ports and PCs, I had to switch computers for it to work. Also, UNINSTALL KIES, it prevents Odin from working properly

My phone wasn't bricked but the Nandroid backup didn't work and I just wanted a clean install again, but now that I did this the phone got stuck in a bootloop. xd It doesn't go any further than the Samsung icon lighting up animation.
