Hello,I am trying to take off from KASE aspen pitkin colorado airport with the aerosoft airbus a 321 and I always crash is there a way to configure something to take off normaly???

+irozu sanchez Have you tried to reduce the weight of the aircraft? Are you using full power? What flap settings do you use for takeoff? Aspen is a high altitude airport, so performance is crucial.

I ussually try flaps 1 on the airbus A321 and with half passengers but I need at least two times the runway to take off kinda properly and yes I use full power but still cant take off properly the runway is at aprox 8000ft from sea level

Thank you very much. The air density definitely affected everything :-) Do you find real world a lot aviation different from simming? I do not talk about G forces. I mean things like aligning to the rw centerline and attitude in general... Does one appear easier than the other to you?

+Ahmed Saleh It is probably easier in the real aircraft, to tell the truth, because you have a feel for things and it is a very dynamic environment. The desktop simulation is a bit of a "sterile" environment, but it is excellent to practice things, learn and generally have fun as it is close to what the real aircraft does.

Hi, I want to take off as you did in high altitude airports but I only can with big planes, small planes don't get enough speed to climb :( what can I do?

...which perfectly illustrates my point. Smaller aircraft may not have the performance to fly at high altitude airports. No much you can do.

Hi I am not sure I understand your question. Yes the heading can be the GPS direction...??
