Super tutorial video; as always Yetundey 🙃 I own the Prophet V and dig it very much. So much so that I'm selling my Nord Lead 2x. The MIDI limitations of the Nord for studio use are insurmountable. The Prophet V has next to zero CPU load on my computer, a concern with any synth VST, and it sounds amazing! I'm using an Arturia Keylab 49 mkii and I'm able to control every aspect of the V synth. I also own the Minimoog V and the CS80 V. I use both for pads and leads, but for arps and synth comps, the Prophet V rules! GREAT work Arturia 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This thing is really good. I think people are generally underwhelmed with V collection 9 but they don't understand how good these upgrades really are.

It looks like the answer is “no”. My V Collection 8 does not have updates for the CS-80, Prophet V or V Piano. Arturia offers the upgrade from V8 to V9 for $150.

Arturia’s business model is paid updates. I’m happy with it because it means there’s always new stuff to try, amazing sound, and no bugs.

@@tendingtropic7778 most def, but if u have 6 core cpu and up, use the Mcore button to spread out the work throughout the cores inside Repro, i got an I7 6 core and use that feature

Or another workaround is to play and track repro with less than 8 poly then when u consolidate the track switch back to 8 to preserve the thick sound

Been using these since before they were even called V Collection, but I’ll never understand non-musical demos like the 1 minute teaser for this, or why you’d hire actors with no synth experience to do these demos. It comes off as “reading a script”, having no idea what they’re doing, and extremely fake. I’m sure there are enough actual users of these products to find one who can do a good demo. 🤷‍♂️ $.02.

@@vvvictoriav5958 and did you look at her Instagram? It says she’s a rapper. The few pictures of her doing anything with music she’s mostly singing. In a few others she’s playing a piano. I scrolled down quite a ways and, no synths. Besides, you can’t watch the video and listen to her read the script and know that she has no idea what an oscillator is? I stand by my statement.
