This is so nice! Love the preamp. When you push the preamp TO THE MAX (just to hear what the saturation sounds like) it has a very warm and smooth sound. NICE! A little bit of this saturation on a vocal really makes it pop! Thanks Arturia.

I am looking for an actual tape emulation where you can rewind with scrub sounds, ffd with scrub, "touch" the reels with the mouse to slow them a bit and f it up. You know, like an ACTUAL tape machine sitting in front of you. It would have to record a bit of audio into a buffer.

There is no opinion to midi map to my controller? Only on Arturia effects it seems 🤷‍♂️ Any suggestions. It automatically maps to my APC 40 however there aren't enough knobs.

Hello does this work with the ipad? As in the official specs page only says support for OS and Windows and similar priced competitors interfaces have IOS supported in their specs. However this one is more ipad friendly with it's little USB input to connect a midi keyboard! Thanks

Considering you wrote your comment in ALL CAPS you might not realize there is such a thing as subtlely. If this effect is used in very subtle manner, one could add an almost imperceptible amount of imperfection to a sound that might take off the digital edge and give a more human element to it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you Lena. Very clear and comprehensive coverage. Arturia has been firing on all cylinders lately; great new synths (SQ-80, etc.), great updates to existing synths (Jup-8, etc.), Pigments keeps getting better, FX Collection, MicroFreak, Keylab MkII. Seriously, a good stretch of winners, with nary a loser in the bunch from my view. Keep up the good work, and while you're at it, please update Mini V next (maybe starting to fall behind a bit)!
