When the floater rotates, where is the pivot point of rotational moment? The centre of gravity (point G) or origin (point O)? I think it should be point G but the figure shows point O, meaning the two hatched triangles on left- and right-hand side are not identical. Is the formula always applicable, regardless of location of point G? Of course, the point G only moves up and down.
