After watching your Lecture, i really get interested in engineering. Before whenever i started to prepare for exam, it was so depression and very hard to let myself into involve. But your lecture broke it down and i really enjoy to study. Thank you so much.. U r grear teacher i ever know. Thank you so so so much Sir🙏🙏🙏❤️

To whoever it may be of a concern In the explanation v(x) and i(x) is a function of distance from the load to generator, for this reason the function will demand some changes, v(x)=v+exp(yx)-v-exp(-yx) Where y is gamma and v+ is forward wave coeff and v- is backward wave coeff

hi dear can we calculate the absorbed power by absorber from only the reflection coefficient? for example calculate the absorbed power by absorber when the reflection coefficient is -20dB
@arbab645 жыл бұрын
Dear sir, your lectures are superb! Good luck. The reflection coefficient is pronounced Gamma and not tau.
@Timmy38504 жыл бұрын
He tried not to make confusion between reflection coefficient and propagation constant since propagation constant is also called gamma.

@4:15 Why is x = 0 at the load? and not the generator?
@poiuwnwang71096 жыл бұрын
I think it is convetinal to make x=0 at the load. If you want x=0 at the s ource, then you have to put -x in the 2 exponential terms, as explained in reply by Aritra Roy Gosthipaty above

If tau is the ratio of the amplitudes of the wave going backwards and that of the one going forward, then why would we want to represent the equation in terms of impedances?

Thank you for teaching us. You taught well. I have a small disagreement: you are calling nu as gamma and gamma as tau. Finally, you were correct calling tau as tau. Thank you for making the videos. I hope it helps all of us.
