My mom and her cousin grew up in the 60's and 70's and they had the little kiddles dolls in the perfume bottles! My mom also use to have a flatsy doll too I just recently found her one a few months ago at an antique store that my best friend owns. Its always nice to see you back Mandi! Thank you for showing us your doll collections. I've recently started collecting barbies from the 1980's! I found an original Barbie and the rockers 1985 doll she came with almost everything the items that she was missing was her hot pink rockers jacket, white pleather leg warmers, her high heels, hair accessories and microphone. I did end up finding a pair of white high heels for the doll in my Barbie shoe inventory. She came with her original white vinyl leather skirt with attached purple felt belt, her pink legging with horizontal silver stripes, earrings, super star ring, and her silver tank top. I'm thinking about remaking her white leather leg warmers I've made some out of white felt just to be temporary until I find some white leather fabric for them. The skirt that she came with is in very bad shape all of the pleather material is long gone on it, and the silver tank top is in rough shape as well. I also have a Island fun Barbie with the spotted legs that I found at a thrift store over a year ago.

The outfit on Barbie And The Rockers is so fragile, even on the reproduction one from 2009. It’s sad cause I love the outfit. The stripes on my Barbie’s leggings are vertical and her top looks different. Not so the ultra shiny lamé, it’s like a woven fabric. There are so many variations of The Rockers.

Those Flatsy dolls are so cute! I have never heard of them but they are adorable. I’ll have to try one of those bands on a Barbie that I have. I just can’t get her bangs to lie flat no matter what I do. I’ve missed your videos, so glad to see a new one 🙂
