The chain is actually turned upside down leaving the "back bump", visible to the outside. Could you do a tutorial using the visible " back bump"? Would appreciate it!

Crochet and Knitting with Tuula Maaria Look at the finished work, you'll see dashes going across the top as if you'd turn the beginning chains over to work in the "back bump", instead of working in the horziontal loop. Hope this makes sense. 😃
