Yes, u can be sensible, Or u can treat yourself! Just bought the LG G4 by a local dealer, expecting it this or next week. Have a C9 currently and chose the G4 because I like the gaming and moviefit of the LG tv’s but primarily the User Interface and account setup with LG. Thanks for this guide

Got the LG C2 48" for £780 in the Black Friday sale and added the Apple TV 4K Gen 3. Just the most beautiful zen like experience. Just perfect.

Excellent video, I currently have a Samsung 65” Q80T and am looking at replacing it with the 2023 Hisense U7K. Would you advise on that change, would I notice a massive a big difference? Thanks

Question, why is led recommended for gaming? I thought oled had the better contrast and pixel response time to make it a better choice.

I’m thinking do I buy an LG G3 OLED or wait and see what the G4 is like. I’m also holding out for the Samsung HW 990D because of the HDMI 2.1 and 120hz pass through for gaming on PS5.

Been a decade since I was in the market for a new TV. Do OLED models still suffer dead/stuck pixels? When OLED first came out it was very apparent it was a problem, more so than LCD.
@mrtuber34916 ай бұрын
If you want your TV to last 5 years then OLED will be good. The longer you hold onto it and the more you use it then the greater the chance of burn in and dead pixels.

I got a panel defects on my Oled C9, it's getting replaced by JL. Still suffer from dead pixels.

Awesome video as always AV. Big thanks for your advice, I thought I’d made my mind up,on the tv I going for, until you chipped in with Samsung, it’s great for movies, which I’m very much into. I was looking at the Sony 95L, or the G4 when it’s out, any chance you could point me in the right direction.

I would love another OLED but I am worried about screen burn which I have on my current OLED. So would I be better off getting a Q OLED❓️
@avforums6 ай бұрын
The latest OLED panels are much better and sets now have very effective mitigation features that help to stop image retention issues. Plus, varying your viewing content regularly and avoiding static images on bright settings helps to mitigate this further. QD OLED is a newer technology which does need a little extra care when it comes to varying viewing content, but nothing average end users should worry too much about.

I've lived with a 50" 4K Hisense ULED for 3 years and 3 months. People tell me how bad Hisense are, but apparently, my TV doesn't know how bad it's supposed to be! The only issue I have noticed, is the outstanding picture and sound! Best TV I've ever owned. 4K picture is stunning. I've also just bought a Hisense Inverter Washing Machine. Again, "experts" tell me how bad they are, but again, my Washing Machine doesn't know how bad it's supposed to be! It's stylish, and super quiet! Yes, KZbin comments is full of "experts" talking out of their backsides! 🤣 EDIT: My Hisense has Quantum Dot Colour, FALD, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, and tons of high-end features I can't even remember! ... Yes, Hisense TVs are "rubbish" and unsuitable for snobs with more money than Hi-sense! 🤣 Incidentally, with 45 years experience in technology, I'm something of an expert myself!

If your Hisense provides you with the image and sound quality you are happy with, that's all that matters. It doesn't matter what anyone else says. They are a very good budget brand that are getting better every year with what they offer in terms of quality and value. Enjoy!

Not interested in gaming, just TV, sport & few movies. I want a TV that I set up once & never have to touch again, no tweaking settings for dark room, days when the sun comes out or if i put an extra light on when vistors come round. Why i still use my Kuro as my main TV, set it up day one & it just works. Don't miss 4k despite having the option in another room 🤷

Try and find a good dealer who stocks both and is prepared to provide you with a demo and then buy the one you prefer.

Movies are 50% visuals and 50% audio, and there are occasions when the audio exceeds the visuals. Mind you leaving the audio to the TV speakers. One will never know
