Channel E44
Transmitter Barcelona
One of the first recordings of TV3 Catalunya. Unfortunately it was recorded in Barcelona with a defective video recorder, so the head drum servo is out of sync. But the recording is rare for that ...

The music sounds very nice Edit: This channel (and other Spanish TV stations at the time) are smart at pumping out their content for peak audiences.

TV3 Catalonia = Fuji TV of Spain anime-wise. (Because the whole Dragon Ball franchise, Arale and several Fuji TV animes were also aired on this channel).

Most Spanish regional TV broadcasters did broadcast lots of anime, starting at the 80s and reaching a peak throughout the 90s and 00s

It's Spanish culture. Lateness is part of their tradition. People work from 9:00am to 2:00pm and 5:00pm until 8:00pm, so it's a little different compared to some countries, but it remains unique to Spain, and some countries. Prime time in Spain begins at around 9:00pm for most TV channels and concludes at around 2:00am in the morning, and that's where high viewership are expected. Even from 2:00pm to 5:00pm is also considered second prime time as most channels air popular shows and lunchtime news bulletins (2:30pm or 3:00pm). It's somewhat equivalent for any other country, with a slight difference.

@@eddief32 You're completely wront. There is no such thing as "primary language". What do you mean? The one that you like the most? There are only official languages, and both Catalan and Spanish are official in Catalonia. And Spanish is more spoken in Catalonia than Catalan itself. For me, this makes Spanish primary if one has to have that condition.
@eddief32
@eddief32 Жыл бұрын
When I refer to the primary language, I'm talking about the language used by local government, education, broadcasters, news organisations, etc. Which, in Catalonia, is Catalan. The most spoken language on the street, is still Spanish, but Catalan is still the majority form used to communicate with those in Catalan speaking areas.
