I believe those TV’s are built for Panasonic by vestal
@TriSportsCricket20 минут бұрын
They are. And they’re terrible compared to the Panasonics of old. The guy’s advice is nearly always wrong. Might be a good tv repairman but when it comes to recommendations he’s WAY off.

Best TV I ever owned, Panasonic 46" plasma. It's just got the 5 red flashes of death after nearly 17 years. Waiting for an honest engineer to repair it,, By the way, it came with a one year warranty plus a five year warranty from the euronics shop I bought it from.

The 65" is £499 to £549 from Richer Sounds.

2 downsides: only 60Hz & is edge lit. Freely also allows you to ‘pause’ live TV as well as restarting programmes on certain channels. With just an Internet connection required, there’s no need for an aerial or satellite dish, making the service ideal for households across the country.

Downsides at £300-£400.!?? That's akin to saying a budget 1.3 litre family hatchback doesn't have 'sports suspension'.!?? It's an "Entry level" TV, EXCELLENT 'Value for Money' ❤🎉
@interstat2222Сағат бұрын
It's direct lit and made by Vestel.

60Hz is just fine.
@ginarae573927 минут бұрын
Indeed, at this price point 60Hz is perfectly good for 'everyday use' ❤ "if you want want to set a personal best on 'Track-Days' then get a 3-litre 6-cylinder Sports Car" 🎉

it’s not a Panasonic TV , it’s a fake made by Vestel and rebadged Panasonic , just because it has a 6yr warranty does not make it a good tv
@TriSportsCricket25 минут бұрын
The Panasonic’s of today are not the Panasonic’s of old. Bar the most expensive OLED Panasonic TVs, these Vestel made Panasonics are as bad as you’d imagine.

The single foot stand is far better than two spindly legs each end of TV if you deliver this it will fit on any table or glass stand if you go with the two legs each end you need a very large piece of furniture for it to stand on I cannot stand wall mounted ones

Absolutely well said ❤ - Centre Pedestal suits 'EVERY' Piece of Furniture 🎉

Also available at John Lewis for the same price with five years warranty - arguably a better deal as RS apparently limit the value of the warranty as the years clock up. Appears to be a Vestel this one - the Toshiba sets, also at JL are cheaper and also carry the warranty.

"Maybe Vestel but it's No Turkey" 🎉 .. I bought the 50" W60 from JL last month, under £300 with 5 year warranty ❤ - For a secondary TV, in our place, it's Genuinely Exceptional 🎉 'Freely' is a game-changer, .. maybe not so loved if you 'represent' TV Licensing Enforcement 😂😂

I bought a Samsung from John Lewis which failed (backlights) after 3.5 years. They arranged for it to be repaired but when it failed again, same fault, after a few months they agreed a full refund. Can't beat JL. Gone back to Sony's now 🙂

As Allen rightly says, with a 6 year warranty it has to be a good thing.. 🎉 Apparently, TCL have overtaken Sony in the UK for brand Market-Share.. Someone is buying them, clearly..!?? ❤

Given Sony's prices, and that you can't get the new Bravia 9 in the UK below a size that you need to live in a mansion for, I'm not surprised. Currys shop assistant told me not to touch TCL TVs, and they had them on display. As for Richer Sounds, I've always found them useless. The consistently refuse to price match competitors' prices, always using their 5 year guarantee as the excuse. When you read the small print, their guarantee isn't isn't worth the paper it's printed on. As for Panasonics, if you can afford them, their OLEDs match the LG G4. Stunning TVs.

The only problem with store warranties like from Richer Sounds and John Lewis is that if the company goes under then the guarantee is completely worthless. I had an extended warranty from Comet - remember them? Times are hard and some companies won't make it. I'm pretty confident that JL will be with us for the next 5 years, but I don't know enough about RS to say the same. I just got a wonderful 55" LED backlit LG from JL. 👍 All the best everyone.

A 6 yr warranty could be the deal for most,,even if its a VESTEL..now TCL in my opinion are way better than vestel and i have recommended a TCL many months ago when the buyer was thinking a JVC would be better ! when it says made in Turkey on the box (aka vestel) homework and sound advice is the way to go.

Any advice on a TCL 50C805K? Richer Sounds have these in all sizes and at £529 with a 6 years warranty looks great for Zwift via my PC to get gaming FPS through the HDMI 2.1...? Don't know anyone with a TCL to get any feedback from?
