I went to one of their concerts at Club Dada in 2018 before they blew up on Tik Tok and let me tell you it was awesome. The crowd was so connected, everyone sang everyone song, there wasn’t that many people, it really was euphoric. Then fast foward, I was at this concert in the middle of the crowd. Man when I tell you it was an entirely different vibe. It was still fun because Tv Girl rules, and I wore my bootleg merch I made from shirts I got from Walmart, but holy moly these kids could not put their damn phones down or stfu.

@@mileSOS I don't know what you're on about, because no where in that message did I say that I'm unhappy about them gaining more recognition. I'm beyond happy that my favorite band is able to perform for such big crowds, and they're only gonna grow more from here. My only complaint in my comment was about the small minority of their audience that doesn't have proper concert etiquette, and that is just a result of the younger generation being so easily influenced by social media. I wish TV Girl would say a few words before they start performing along the lines of "Remember, you're all here because you have the same interest, please be cordial to the ones around you. You can record, but please don't hold your phone up at arms length for the entirety of the show. Please don't push and shove." Etc. Honestly anything, because for a lot of their younger audience, it's their first ever concert and a lot of them just don't know any better. And that's what ruins the show for everyone else. But of course I want them to become even more popular, what real fan of their music wouldn't?
