I don't know who this 'The Legal Occupier' dude is But I have been throwing his letters away for about 20 years now

Maybe one day I will change my name to Mr Legal Occupier and watch royal mail trying to deliver 1500 tonnes of mail a day down my little farm track.

Just keep the door shut and don't worry 😉

Hey mate, just some feedback but you should be cutting out the identifying spots or taping over them; it is potentially possible to recover the details if they are inked over.

I keep receiving these for a house next door that is just a derelict empty shell. I even rang them up a few years back and told them which resulted in a year gap before they started again. What a waste of paper. Can't wait for them to visit.... they've got no problem entering except for their own safety on the broken open air floors!!!!

Sounds like they just marked the place as 'no licence needed' rather than 'no longer exists', unfortunately that only lasts a year before you have to repeat yourself to them or they send the letters again, and because nobody lives there they just start screaming into the void once again. As for why you get them if they are addressed elsewhere I reckon that would be an issue to take up with royal mail.

Oh no, not another threatening TVL letter, you can tell you're shaking in your boots, more sleepless nights, constantly living in fear worrying that any second you could get a dreaded TVL "enforcement officer" knock on the door. /s

All those letters are sent out from a mailing house. The type of places that used to mail out catalogues to random post code areas. Those numbers on the back of the envelooe/document are just storage numbers. If you send the envelope back return to sender, it goes back to that mailing house and is shredded, destroyed. Believe me, they have loads of envelope stuffers sitting there stuffing that bumph into envelopes.

I informed the BBC that I don’t watch live tv about 6 years ago and have only received 1 letter about 2 years ago asking if my situation has changed.

I received the red enveloped letter with the "OFFICIAL NOTICE" window. Knew what it was straight away but someone else seeing that would immediately think it's debt collection. Kept it - unopened. Can't wait for a visit, only got 2 words to say to them.

I felt a small moment of low level pride that you’re still running with my creative letter destruction idea. 🤣 Have you picked up Bella’s poop with a letter yet?

I hadn't thought of that I'll give it a go.

I suspect TV Licensing would be more than happy to employ Paula Vennells as an "enforcement offucer" in the unlikely event she gives up feeding from her current trough.

My gran gets 1 every month, not this threatening...yet. But i have told them that she has dementia and doesn't even know how to operate the TV let alone watch it. They said to just ignore the letters sent out 🤷

You can't do a video about a uniquely British thing and mis-pronounce "scheduled". This isn't America!

Never noticed that before and now can't stop noticing it. Seems I say it both ways with no real reason either way. I'm also noticing other people do the same.
