I love how on Dave's audio you can hear their amps sizzling and hissing, and then once the count in from Murph comes in it's all pristine. Letterman had awesome sound mixers (for the most part)

I remember watching this live when it aired. It was obvious that the stage volume was INSANE! Great job to the DL staff for reining the audio in for an awesome and inspiring broadcast! This performance has always stood out for me, Dave always had kickass bands and would let them rip. Hat tip to Paul and the boys…..
