Solo section makes me want to cry. J Mascis with his epic guitar playing and Murph going super hard on the drums. I love this song so much

J mascis the most underrated modern guitarist. This solo is fucking beautiful.

Greatest guitarist of all time imo. How many fingers does he really have anyway?? Everyone should check out "alone" live sometime particularly a video or two on here somewhere in the mid to late 90s, back when J still had color in his hair. It's so sick

Arguably the best track from this entire set. A topic for another time perhaps. Now, we shred.

Amen, brother. People need to be more inebriated or something to loosen them up for more silliness. People are so self-conscious nowadays it's sickening. I don't smell the teen spirit, do you?

What is up with people now a days? Wheres the movement and dancing? People are too over concerned about how they look in our country today. They can't bear to act like an idiot for two seconds because some one might "judge" them. In Europe I see people dancing to the music all of the time at music festivals. I think music culture has lost its groove...

It's totally gone over my head that Norway ain't part of Europe!

Do you still think this 15 years later?
@stopthrm Жыл бұрын
wow, this comment was a whiiiiiiiiiiiiile ago, lol. Hmm ... I was at a Thundercat show last year and the crowd was definitely moving to the music so I'd say not as true. But when I saw the Foo Fighters this year at a packed show, I'd say it took most of the show for the crowd to get into moving around let alone shimmying or dancing. There were a few that were dancing from the first songs but not a ton except for in the front row. I even heard some people remark that they were annoyed that people were moving around so much. lol, I just felt bad for them and thought to myself, why did you come?
@brendanw6080 Жыл бұрын
@@stopthrm Those people should've expected something like that to happen. I remember seeing a mosh pit form in front of me when I went to see Obituary. That was a blast.

This crowd sucks!
@asharpbflat71792 жыл бұрын
No, they were just born at around a time when dinosaur broke up as a band around the late 80s early 90s. So they missed YOUR youth as a 90s-teen. And you missed THEIR youth as millennial-teens, so you have no idea what they're into and which band they were waiting for at that festival in 2007. Maybe Bat For Lashes, maybe some black metal, maybe Maximo Park, maybe something fun yet electronic, maybe the Dresden Dolls, who knows. 90s noise is harsh, harmonies, melodies and vocals are hard to track live if you don't know them from the album and I can totally see how you just don't pay closer attention if you're just not die hard into it. I'd go to see dinosaur or sonic youth any day back then, but then again, i grew up with Nirvana-bootlegs... So the crowd doesn't really suck. They're just cool and have other expectations to LIVE-sound (accessibility) of music. They chillin...
