tv player worth it ??? you choose

TV Player and UKTV play are both not worth it. I watch the gold channel on my Sky Q Box. This is one of the reasons why we don’t use BT TV or EE TV.

Why don't they put every freeview channel & regional variations by post code on the free version ? Without those features the app is useless!

blitz Ok, maybe to do with your internet connection? Or if you were using Wi-Fi or hard wired, can't remember if you said. Seems to be working ok for me at the moment, and I know why you couldn't get Gold, it's when you sign up for it you have to pick standard or plus, the channel Gold is in the plus package, it's a few quid more.

Eddie Dio in the end I got all channels on it but the gold never worked during trial mode and also only music channels never worked but rest did it was ok but I don't think it was worth the price tho wen you can get something same from now tv

blitz Makes sense mate! I just really missed the crime channels after cancelling sky, and couldn't see them on now tv, so I'm gonna stick with tvplayer for now, I've only got the £5.99 one too, don't think the £7.99 one is worth it.

never had the trial issue but from my experience from TV Player is not worth it after it kept on freezing on my Roku

yeah despite the now tv downfall with their boxes they got their act together compared to tv player when it comes to streaming

the now tv boxes are ok the 2nd gen is not that new one witch has freeview that box is bad lol

true should of pointed out it was the box with the freeview on it is the issue just hope if they bring out another gen box it is as good as the roku2/3 style nowtv boxes
