I fixed my remote by replacing the bulb using a soldering iron and an LED that I had on hand. It only worked from about 4” away, but it did work.

Owned my TV for 3 years before actually pairing the Bluetooth remote so I don't have to manually txt youtube searches anymore. Thanks so much! I feel so stupid now. 😆 🤣

Oh my. Your instructions are the only one that worked to get my remote working with my tv while in safe mode. Thank you so very much. I worked on troubleshooting this for two hours before I found your video that finally saved me. I could t get to the settings menu due to being in safe mode and my remote did not work because I changed the batteries and it was no longer paired. Thank you thank you thank you! So frustrating.

My remote fell 2 feet and now only thing that works is the Google voice button nothing else? I was able to confront tv just from voice but I moved so wifi changed so can't use it anymore and can't count to wifi. Any ideas why the voice works and nothing else?

@@erikashackelford6336 nope, tried everything. Took it apart notice nothing wrong. Not even my phone worked with it. Was going to buy a new remote but if my phone not connecting I don't want to waste money on a remote. But I'll buy one anyway just to see.

What if my orange light is on. But it doesn’t work with my tv. Also once In a while when turning the tv on it’ll say 152 days past due for update but there’s no way for me to push ok. To do it because the remote doesn’t work

Good luck trying to pop out those batteries from the Roku remote with your finger. It's next to impossible.

This is completely worthless. You all skipped past the tv not turning on by the power button on the back. This has been happening since I bought the thing, but unplugging then replugging has worked for the remote to turn the tv on for most part. The control buttons built into the tv only work after the tv is powered on. They have never worked while it was powered down. Everything else you addressed in the video was tried previously when the tv was powered on. Which brings me back to step 1. The tv won't turn on manually, and never has.
