Who knows. I always though standard big eyes and triangle face was because it was easy to reproduce for animation studios outside Japan to mass product animes. Many animes are mainly done in Korea etc. sweatshops, so style is the same most of the time, especially Isekai garbage etc.

I always thought the manga was a bit all over the place with its direction, but honestly if it has the production that it seems to be getting, this shit probably gonna turn out real good. One of those fresh seinen post apocalyptic adventure that in the recent years. the plot was okay, but the storytelling changes everything, there was two separate settings (the facility, and the adventure), learning the other gives a clue to the other one. and the added Horror element gives the story more shock value than it looks initially.

This looks amazing!! If only I had known about anime and manga and how it was made back when I was a kid this would have been a career path I would have persued. Not that I am very talented in the whole drawing department, but had I started as a kid and and really invested into it and honed the capabilities necessary it would definitely have been possible.
