Mr. Lawyer, the people at the Passport office have no as well as the boy, have no culpability, concerning the procurement of the Passport or the truism of the contents of the documents, submitted as they, most likely, had no hand in it. The Defendants could just submit docents and the passport would just be issued, without questions as the are, supposedly, reliable individuals. In Nigerian system, who is that Passport employee, that would deny or even question, or even deny servicing some documents, either submitted by someone like Ekweremadu or on his behalf. They would gladly and quickly process it, for a tip, which wood, expectedly, be big. The poor boy might not even have, personally, shown up for the Visa i interview. To insinuate that the 15-year old boy might not know his own age, is an insult to him. And you think that the two defendants would know that, better than he would? Are we talking about age, which even 3-year olds can tell? In their desperation, they could have just boosted up his age, to enhance their purpose, which is to save or elongate the live of their beloved, terminally-ill daughter. It is only in Nigeria that such crooked legal gymnastics can thrive, due to criminally-motivated, crass professional claptrap. Knowing. Nigeria and their corrupt practices, even practiced, also, by top Government officials, which include politicians the government, itself, the UK government will pay no mind to any age-confirming proof that would emanate from Nigeria. It is going to be a tough case. The West, as a whole, loves to set examples with Big Fishes. That’s why their democracy and systems work. On the whole, we pray that Ike Ekweremadu and his wife as well as their ailing daughter and the poor victim of a by, all come out of this nightmarish travail, unscathed.

As it is the UK believes the boy to be a minor of 15 years old who can not give consent to having his kidney donated. The main issue is that the law believes the couple to be conspiring to harvest his organs without the boys will. This is a serious offence. The issue of how a 15 year old got hold of a passport declaring him to be 21 is a Nigerian issue and not the problem of the UK. Anyway, on the 7th we should find out if the issue will be handed to the Crown Court for further action.
