I’m so hooked on this show already. Probably because they’ve truly nailed the 70s vibe. Yes we had binary friends. That’s not what we called them of course. We didn’t care. They were friends. It never occurred to us to think of them as “different”. Same with race. Coming out of the late 60s we just embraced everybody. Miss those pre-internet/pre phone in every pocket times.

If Carlos imo in the second episode is any inclination this show is going to die. The problem with SPN and now the Winchesters is that they lost sight of who their audience really was. They thought and still think that twitter is where their viewers are and its just not true. So when they feed twitter they ruin the show. Carlos is fun but he is way too over the top to see him every week. His singing Age of Aquarius was too much, too stupid and wasted time that could have been spent with story. If Jensen and Robbie do not understand their audience and who they are this show is doomed. Viewers don't care about Woke, sex orientation , representation. We want good story - Period.

I loved Carlos singing Age of Aquarius. It truly set the tone that we are not watching "Supernatural." Not really, anyway. It is and it isn't... The show has always had a different feel to it. Is that sepia? It feels like someone else is telling the story. I didn't start watching this show thinking that I was going to see Dean, Sam, Cas, or Jack.... I knew it was going to be something different. I think its all very clever. But I do agree that twitter is not the place to speak to fans.
