I almost feel bad that he always get the same questions in all the interviews. I bet he has more to say, but he is a real gem, I didn't knew it till tonight watching all his interviews. My respect for this man is immense and I guess so many people can relate to him! Keep on fighting, once you hit your all time low and fought your way back to the top, you are like a dry alcholic with a dark shadow chasing you. Never let it happen to you again - what ever it is that sucks you down.

A lot of women see this in him. However Hollywood has too many people that fixate on wealth too much so there are definitely a lot of gold diggers around famous people too much. He admits it’s why he’s been single for a long time. It’d be nice to see him with someone that could see what’s actually important. Johnathan Ross is a film buff and started out on late night tv with quite alternative film show on a different channel like 30 years ago (is wife is a scriptwriter Jane Goodman has wrote some great scripts btw) This is late night ala Jonny Cardson and Letterman and you can tell Mickey appreciated the interview. He knew his career let him talk, had a more honest converstation than most chat shows of this ilk. Lets face it, this slot be it Letterman or Ross or Conan or Leto has always been massive weekend viewings and is usually plug, jokes plug and bye. Johnathan atually asked great questions in this format tbf. For longform and love him or hate him you should watch Piers Morgan do an hour with Rourke, its very very goot and more deep and focused because is focused on him and not a chatshow with other guests. I feel you are wrong in all fairness or did not get how we Brits use humour in different ways, Ross actually asked some great questions here. Its ok to disagree though, this is just my take and may have added context. Of course every actor in hollywood does it with a personal trainer. And he is or was always a regular visitor of the golds gym, so even when he doesn't is bulky as most bodybuilders he had some muscles to go from. Most actors aren't in shape all year. You would be suprised for what kind of roles they get on steroids not know what they actually take. I mean most actors would get on the knees and blow for a good role. Take a look at all the abuse from the studios when you are a rising star. The Hollywood poltics and their own rules are very strict, swim with it or you are out.
