So I agree with what you said that it was a controversy for the big TV bosses at that time to display four actresses playing vital Sexual women. I was a 30 year old male who watched the show almost every week. Most 50 years old older women though are like Blanche though. So I and my friends didn't see controversy we just saw an entertaining show that most viewers could relate to. I hated a lot of the controversial topics. Also after season 3, the show's quality significantly decreased. We liked the show for the actresses and the comedy

Well it explains why in the full episode. Rebecca asks Blanche to come and talk to the doctor to get her more on board, when Blanche is talking to the other 3 she asks them to be there for support and Rebecca agrees to it. I can see why its silly out of context though lol.

I will be turning 40 years old on the 22nd of this month, and I wish that I had friends, I love watching the Golden Girls, it brings me a little bit of happiness, I am not close to anyone in my family, unfortunately, I feel like I have been an outcast, the black sheep of the family, although I have two children, I still feel alone, when they are sleep, I really don't have anyone to talk to, sorry for the long comment, I was beginning to cry because I wish I had people in my life like the Golden Girls, although this is a tv show ( uploaded on KZbin) , I hope that I will be able to grow older graciously, like the Golden Girls , enjoying my days on earth with happiness and surrounded by love 💕 Rest in peace Golden Girls ❤

Agree! Those were both good episodes! I also would’ve liked to have seen the heavy version of Rebecca included. It was never explained how she lost over a hundred pounds.
