They should do a zoom meeting with all 3 Carly's. Probably not the actresses fired as Carly. She came on after Tammy quit. Literally the next day. She lasted 6 months before GH canned her. Laura Wright came on 3 months later and has been in the role since late 2005.

@@USAjock9it wasn’t 3 months it was barely 3 weeks. Jenny’s last scene aired in October Laura started in early November. Jenny was only ever temporary. GH completely blind sided her. She not only signed a 1 year contract but the contract had a clause that they could opt out at month 5. She resembles Laura so much. They had been courting Laura the entire time that Jenny played Carly. I’m always happy that Tam still gives Jenny her props. It was evident they wanted Laura but knew Laura Wright at 5 ft 7” 160 pounds replacing 5 ft 4” 115 pd Tam would have been terrible so they hired someone that was 5 ft 9” 125 pds to play Carly. Jenny was a complete misfit as Carly because SJB and Tam are both on the shorter side. Laura is on the taller side tho so Jenny’s misfit changed the way the character appeared. Enter Laura who reads more like Jenny with a striking resemblance to the SJB days. Problem solved for GH except Tam gave one of the most powerful pieces of acting in GH history and everyone was calling for her Emmy nomination but GH opted to not Submit any of Carly’s scenes that year. It was very shady.

Tammy to me embodied the character Carly. I can see why she quit though. The character is very one dimensional. Laura Wright replaced the actress that replaced Tammy who lasted ONLY 6 months in the role. The powers that be didn't think she was cutting the mustard so she was fired which upset many of the actors on GH. Laura Wright began airing a couple months later and has done a great job! She has been in the role since late 2005 and no sign of growing bored of over baring, hot headed Carly. She is always screaming it seems like. It's funny because Sarah Brown who originated the Carly character way back when has also returned to GH playing a different character against Laura Wright. Another brilliant actress we don't see enough of. She to quit GH stating she had grown bored of playing Carly. Sarah actually showed a very different side of herself playing Claudia when she returned for that 1 year stint which turned into 2 years as the story grew. Fun, fun, fun!!!! Be fun to see a zoom interview with all 3 Carly's. The actress that was fired probably not. honestly I thought she was growing into the character which happens with a recast.

Dianne B. Dee ok but SJB won about 3 for her portrayal and adulthood? Carly was never a child she was 21 when she came to portcharles not a teen. She made Carly and who she was really. TB was just a watered down version. It was like she was trying to be tough and street but it didn't work. Nominated and winning are two different things. Sara and Laura both won Emmys for portraying Carly. TB is the reason I stopped watching gh til 2005 when LW came on. Sara Brown once said that LW should replace her if she left. TB only got the part cause at the time LW was on GL. Once she left and they got rid of that horrible 3rd Carly, LW came on board and I came back to GH. LW brought back Carly's spunk and undying loyalty to Jason.the way SJB had. TB just was not right for the part to me. The reason I stopped watching was because she was horrible. Maybe she got better as an actress later I don't know was not watching but TB was not good in the beginning sorry.
