Am currently just starting my FO3 play through..... Played it years ago, but never actually played the DLC's that come with it, pretty shameful for a 44 year old Fallout fan lol. But the game is very good and has such a dark atmosphere.

House clearance guys test everything to maximise profit, most have a plug in their truck or just test it in the house their clearing, never bought from after my friend told me that. It’s a business decision, they get nearly x4-5 times the profit for working electronics with their connections rather than selling at car boot sales or markets.

Often they don’t, I’ve got family who run a waste disposal company, they just get rid of it fast for cash flow. I’ve had a load of big hitters too from Clearance vans, they just clear houses, whack electronics in the van and other goods and get rid of it. They let stuff go for nothing at the end of carboots too because it’s not worth storing to them and they get stuff in daily.

I would lie took a punt on the PS3, controllers are a good trade in and the PS3 isn’t all that hard to fix, I just delid the old phat ones. I’d have definitely grabbed it for £30, would’ve haggled £20. No matter what, always assume something is broken at the booty, you can’t trust a soul and what they say.
