I asked a TVRM employee about 630’s old ET&WNC aluminum bell, and he told me that TVRM held onto it after 630’s restoration. It’s currently in the vault room with some other pieces of significant historical interest. I would really like to see them put it back on 630 for a day or two.

I am really not sure. Listening to this video and comparing it to recent video I hear a slight difference but that could be in the audio quality. Some of the folk that have a more intimate knowledge of her will answer that one.

Dylan Watson no. Her bell sounds more like a 1930s passenger locomotive than that "tin can" heard from the 80s

This was the tin bell out on her by the ET&WNC. TVRM finally removed it in 2011, replacing it with a proper Southern bell.
