Environment and road conditions. I would disagree. It gets way to hot every quick. The suspension is way too tough. Race track is its home.

Feel RR is cute.... But the people like me how take there bike to work or college which is near a highway.... Is treat it's not that I have not ridden the RR but once you ride RC you would feel that RR is less Powerful but RR is manageable in city traffic....

What a video! Fantastic.. The RR310 is most definitely the better allrounder with more abilities.. The RC lives on to be the specialist n the best at what its meant to do.. That is best in the racetracks.. The biggest bummer on the TVS though is vibes from 90-120!! Disappointing in the otherwise fantastic bike..

Rs. 2.7 lakhs on road for the RR 310 in Bangalore and Rs.2.88 lakhs on road for the RC 390 with slipper clutch,Ride by wire and more power,better brakes and tyres! We guess we know who the value for money king is here! Not to mention the slow supply chain of tvs is a big obstacle! Amazing machines but the KTM takes the throphy just by a notch! Anyone looking for a substitute to the CBR 250R's versatility has their wishes answered with the RR310!

Sleepy_Rider i would also prefer ktm service over TVS. Reason - ktm only deals with high performance bikes whereas tvs has only 1 so far. And if the same service guys are going to service tvs mopeds aswell as akula, then the service is bound to be compromised.

310. is for overall use.. and comfortable in city ride..... and rc 390 is just for open roads .. not so comfortable in city.. or daily routine

Then it'll have poorer fuel economy...it's nice to have the KTM, but the extra mileage from the Apache is sweeter during long-term ownership

Apache's have always lacked a power in their respective segments. But that very fact also makes it more practical in our roads in a long run.

It was 40hp initially which would have gone to top speed of 180+ with more refined engine but Tvs decided to cut down on that to suit the bike with indian conditions

Even though i own ktm rc 390 i would still go for rr310 at one point u surely want refinement, where ratling plastic sounds quit bothers alot specially the battery cover up front. Nevertheless i would agree with the fact u just cannot beat rc 390 performance out on corners and sheer power and thrill it has to offer. But at some point of time i would surely love to have rr 310 as apache rtr 180 (2011)was my first bike back than.

KTM have the Duke series for touring.The RC is not even focused towards long journeys it's a track machine so let it be that way.People who buy an RC for long touring are foolish I say.

RC 390 for a rider and RR 310 for a rookie. RR 310 is good for city rides, RC 390 is a highway monster, and a perfect tract tool with ABS, slipper clutch, ride by wire and Metzelers take it beyond 7000rpm and make your final decision. If you ride in a city full of traffic then go for RR 310. _RC 390 owner.

If you're investing an amount of over 2.5L you definitely will look out for more than just speed...to be true RR 310 is the pure champion in the game it's not only the power but the collective ability of the bike...and not to be missed the first in segment reverse inclined DOHC engine jointly developed with BMW and the RAM air assist are the features which make the RR 310 a much better choice over the 390

I think , more fare comparison will be RR310 and Duke390, KTM 390 it is not meant to go off road or to be used in city. They have KTM Duke for that.

If I had to choose a bike among these two, I would rather choose the Duke 390 (not RC), over any other bikes under 3 LAKHS because there are no compromises made in every aspect like looks, styling, performance.

In my 1.5 years of ownership of RC390, I have never seen engine temp gauge running at full.. even in this video it is 3 bars below full.. RC can be used for commute though it is not the most comfortable commuter..

vratesh pinge The video actually shows the bottom guage full. Ive been riding my own 390 Duke for 4 years almost and the main guage gets full very rarely. But on the RC 390 it was running full quite often Besides which, in my experience, once the two bars in the top guage light up, the engine cuts off till it cools down. This takes about ten minutes.

The Honda bike will be a winner for sure. Rode the 300 in Bali , it's awesome how well built and refined the Honda is. Neither of these bikes offer this level of precision and refinement in engineering. The Honda will also outlast both these bikes combined together, and offer better efficiency and heat management. One should wait if he can for another year. I ride a cbr650f. Chose it over the Z900 and older street triple for how good the service and how much lighter on wallet it is to maintain.

Hi sir my question is I have seen a video where it was clearly mentioned that in rr310 the screws on the fading gets loosen very quickly and does need to be tighten manually is it really is a cons of the bike??

Performance and price wise apache rr310 = ktm 300 cc bike Because it offers 34 bhp power And duje 250 offers 29.5 bhp and duke 390 offers 43 bhp.so it lies in between them. Price wise 30 k gap between duke 250 and rr310 and more 30k for duke 390.

Tvs manufacturing ...bmw motor cycle... Per day 160 bikes production ....out of 160 ..140 bikes for BMW g 310. Balance 20 only for Apache 310rr... So waiting period will be there .
