Correct me if Iam wrong, but isnt the GT the same as the interceptor but with few changes in the chassis? Its got the same engine, clutch, gearbox etc.

@@varunkaushik2834 Yeah you are right. The basic difference is the riding position, looks, body weight, fuel tank capacity. Rest of it is mostly similar.

I'm really frustrated with all reviewers and moto vloggers. How do we decide a good bike these days? LED headlights, side stand cut off, instrument cluster! Literally! I'm fed up. How would you just judge a motorcycle with these fancy techs? A motorcycle is to ride and enjoy the road!!! Not a screen.

As a person who owns a few motorcycles, I have stopped listening to reviews to decide which bike I am going to buy. I just buy whatever makes me smile the most. That's it. It doesn't have to be reliable or good (I can work on my motorcycles a bit), if a bike makes me smile, that would be the one I would pick up. I can also appreciate every motorcycle for what it is designed to be. It took me a lot of time to get to this stage. I agree that this format of motorcycles are cringe and entirely useless for me. But that's just me. I can see why this would make sense to a lot of people who are just getting into motorcycles. I am not being specific to the rr319 or the interceptor but in general. They just want the most for their money and get distracted with the feature list basing on reviews like this. It's sad but hey, who am I to judge?

It's India, Indian companies sell garbage to Indians, year on year instead of developing some cool, real world useful features, these companies sell us crap, next year crap topped up with glaze, further crap topped up with glaze and covered with shiny paper, wtf. Compacted have been doing this for the past 2 decades at least, only Tata is a brand that developed separate engines over the years others have just milked the same old things. We don't even get a proper engine size, I mean bikes (not the smaller ones I mean litre class )carry better engines than cars. To date bajaj has been using an engine that it developed(stole, co produced ) in 90s with Kawasaki, now it's doing the same with KTM, it'll do the same with triumph and only good bikes we got were 1st generation pulsar and second generation dominar in twenty years, in 30 years we are incompetent in providing good service and RSA, 30 years. Look where Yamaha was, look at honda and look at hero and bajaj, same for RE, these people couldn't even develop a single engine in the past 60 years and what they come up with refreshed 650cc from seventies, waah. A 650 cc engine where you can't tour, can't put your feet down, rusts terribly, needs tappet adjustments, cmon, now they upgrade with what, tripper navigation, kya BAAT hai aur kya .... Bas itna hi, INDIAN MARKET IS SHIT, all these companies have just been profiteering by coming here and even the government doesn't give a duck about this. Consumers aren't indignant about it either. They think if they speak anything that person will spoil my bike or car, how many videos have we seen regarding this it's crazy when you think about it and how these conglomerates treat consumers. It's just sad,

@@sumeet8446 very well said!! People reject a bike based on LED headlamps, I mean what the fuck? I agree that we are a price sensitive market, but that doesn't mean you sell gimmicks. People forget a motorcycle is a machine, which only does better when it is constantly updated and upgraded "mechanically" not through navigation and shit! Seriously give me an older Karizma with a new engine and jst speedo and fuel gauge I will be more than happy to buy. And these reviewers talk so much about instrument clusters 6 inch 7inch TFT , but tell how many time you look at your cluster when you are enjoying a ride? All we need is a 'Pure Motorcycle' no-nonsense

@@linkinpark7898 this is probably the most sensible comment thread I've come across this year. you spoke my heart out, buddy! @sumit Patel, you too mahn! look at car reviews. they say a car Is bad because it doesn't get "soft-touch materials on the dashboard" and more such nonsense. and then come the people who take their words as gold and make decisions on that basis. in a perfect world, a car like the tata harrier which doesn't have the 20 inch iPad, and an interceptor 650 are the 2 legit vehicles I'd love to see parked in my garage one day. seriously, Indians looking for "paisa vasool with a huge feature list" and manufacturers giving it to them has been the perfect formula for a win-win game. no one else seems to care about an automobile being a machine with a heart of an engine, and developing a connection with it. looks like that's never gonna happen in our country either. anyways I'm glad people like you are still around. guys, please don't die. cheers!

I mean, it does 0-100 in 10secs.. cruising speed of 110-120, gives a mileage of 35kmpl...one of the best weight to power ratios out in the market. But what people ask? Bro! TFT screen nahi hai!! I was furious. I had own 2 bikes before this (Unicorn and Thunderbird 2008) I have more than 1Lkh Kilometres under my belt and suddenly someone comes and complains me about a screen and Bluetooth 🙅🤷🤦🤦🤦 And this demand for gimmicks is purely funded by these reviewers. A similar example would be Mobile phones with 3-4-6 cameras and 1000megapixels. These are auxiliary features,why do people think of it as the main thing?

Back in 2019 when I was planning for a new bike I had the same problem. Both were below 3L margin. After test riding both I felt like Apache is more suited for me.

It's not good to compare apache with interceptor as nothing comes close to owning a timeless piece of history. Over a course of time it wouldn't matter if you have all the gizmos and tech, a motorcycle that gives peace of mind while taking it out for a spin is all we need. Happy to have an interceptor..

Think you guys should have taken the Dominar 400 into consideration too... Almost the same price point, good mix of both touring and daily commute and produces almost the same power as that of 650 with just the one cylinder

RR 310 mirrors are very good. Dont know what makes you say they are useless? Only issue with RR mirrors is that its too tight to adjust. A spring loaded lock mechanism would make it easier to adjust and fold inwards. In its prrsent condition, its too tight to adjust and fairing will creak if you fold mirrors inwards / outwards 🤣 But visibility is very good in the mirror.

@@_GOKU_TUI If entire ₹3000 pocket money is available for bike, then yes Because for 900km per month, you'll need minimum 30L petrol itself So that itself would be ₹3000 now 😅😅 And then maintenance costs are minimal itself Rs 1.5-2k per service on avg if you use motul mineral oil And parts cost a lot, but they dont wear out fast also So its manageable Now that i have given the costs calculation, you make a choice

It only depends on the riding style of the rider ...... The bike YOU enjoy the most is the BEST bike in world ♥️ ... Specifications and features are all good but if you don't enjoy while you ride then it doesn't make any sense to buy that bike .

@@kundanpatel1289 I also hate those kind of people even I have faced those kind of treatment ...... I was very happy in ridding my 15 year old Activa .... I was in complete gears vega off-road helmet a nice local jacket pro biker gloves and always on shoes 😂 I was looking too odd on it but still continue to ride like that because I was HAPPY .... And now I have xpulse 200 and done 10k km on it ...... I stopped riding Activa just because it is now too old and have completed its 15 years so I gave Activa retirement 🥺 .......

I have been owning Int from then a year now, before finalizing for Int , I had ridden Duke 390 and Rr310 . All bikes are good . Duke : Insane performance with lots of tech , agressive riding posture ,spare parts are at higher side but okay it's once a year thing if ridden right. Rr310: First thing, Rr310 is not available at every Tvs showroom, like in Madhya Pradesh only in Gwalior and Indore at that time had this so that was a problem , This bike is good but in its Bs4 variant vibrations are so much that you feel like riding a classic 500 in sports Avatar. Int: I have never owned a Re before and heard alot about pathetic Re service and rusting of bikes, vibrations and whatsoever but this machine is different, Int feels like it's built to last ,damn smooth ,buttery gearbox ,great performance. I feel apart then seat their is no issues with this bike. Average is decent :25-28kml Service interval is good : once in a year. Easy to maintain, reasonable spare parts . All in all you can cruise, commute and even have weekend fun rides with it. That's why I finalized Int over any other.

Not exactly a fair comparison. They maybe priced similarly, but the audience they target is totally different. The ContiGT650 would have been more apt to have compared the RR310 with, but again, TVS can wrap that engine up as beautifully as they want with the RR as they have done it, the bike looks gorgeous and is packed with a lot of features, but the simple fact that the Interceptor/Conti GT 650 is powered by a far more relaxed twin cylinder engine that's smoother and pulls like a locomotive from such low RPM, is simply enough to convince a lot of buyers to go for the Interceptor. But...The RR has it's charm. I'd still say it's one of the most beautifully designed motorcycle from TVS. They have given so much emphasis just like how they did with their flagship Suzuki Shogun, few decades back. The design, features, engine.etc. It's just for a different set of audience. The RR310 will most likely beat the 650 Twins on the track easily due to it's more modern chassis,better brakes and tyres. Compare the 650 Twins with nobody. Compare the RR with the KTM 390 Duke and RC390. That's a better comparison IMHO.

I bought an interceptor on last November I test rode int 650 and rr310. My opinion ; if you want a awesome riding feel then int650 if you are more interested on tech side then rr310 The reason I choose int650 over rr310 is it is an all all rounder bike interceptor has all necessary techs like dual channel ABS, Slipper clutch, side stand sensor, engine cut off sensors etc, I owned a dominar 2018 belive me NO SINGLE CYLINDER TOYS CANNOT MATCH THE RIDE QUALITY OF TWIN CYLINDER. In interceptor you can customize each and every nut and bolts and make it your way so features doesn't matters. I you feel my comment is useful then give a like
