Sir EV has its short comings, atleast in the passenger segment cars division, don't villanise IC engines for the sake of it, like pollution or anything, As you said Tata cars ev la there are still quality issues, baterry failure, sensor issue etc A battery oda rated mileage Vera, actual mileage Vera, but there are speed restrictions in highways to get the maximum mileage, highways oda speed limit 100kmph na, the current lithium ion battery in a nexon is not able give maximum mileage for 100kmph, there are speed restrictions still for maximum mileage. Plus what after 8 years warranty??? A new nexon battery costs a fortune There is still uncertainty in passenger cars or heavy vehicles segment So Suzuki or Toyota are betting on hybrid first and then EV, ev has to mature first and then EV, as for next 10 years hybrid and evs will Co exist. Ippo Tiago costs 12lakhs na, it's OK for city usage, I need quality assurance and battery life assurance plus for the same price ku I get a suv in IC engine or spend a few lakhs more and get a hybrid which is more practical and less polluting. Where are the lithium, manganese, cobalt going to come from? Are they not polluting to extract it? Where are the power supply coming from 70 pecent are from coal. As of now I would prefer evs for scooter and bikes, cars and heavy vehicles they are a long way off, ev as a car as a city or a secondary vehicle it's OK, but as a long run after the warranty expires it's still a question mark, yenna IC engines are proven tech, EV are not, so promote ev with caution
