This is one of my favourite programmes I absolutely love Gogglewatch and it was a brilliant CITV show.

This is brilliant CITV had a great year of programmes in 1996 which premiered in January after the Christmas break and they had twelve fantastic months of great programmes including some fantastic Christmas specials in December.

The Goggles was an iconic CITV series which was broadcast when promoting CITV's new season of programmes. In 1996 they had Gogglewatch to promote the new autumn season of programmes starting in September and then in December before Christmas they showed Goggle Watch...The Goggle's Christmas Giggle to promote the new winter season of programmes starting in January. The Gogglewatch programmes which were broadcast in February 1997 so during CITV's comedy week was absolutely hilarious and they had a fantastic week of programmes it was really funny when poor Gaby Goggle lost her memory in the episode originally broadcast on the Tuesday after Gordon Goggle dropped the vase onto her head and then she knocked her head again on the Wednesday episode and her memory came flooding back. It is hard to believe that the Goggles were originally broadcast on CITV in October 1995 so during the 40 years programmes then the last ever time the Goggles appeared on CITV was in April 1998 as part of the Goggles Spooky special.

The Goggles is absolutely hilarious and a great children's comedy series on CITV which was broadcast to preview the new season of programmes for the autumn and winter season which were due to start in September and after Christmas. After this week of episodes of Gogglewatch finished on the Friday the next Gogglewatch episode wasn't broadcast until December and that was the Christmas edition.

Before these episodes resurfaced on your KZbin channel a little while back I had absolutely no idea that these episodes were still out there I knew that they still existed in ITV's secret programme archive but I didn't know that somebody would have had a recording from the original broadcast.

The Goggles intro at 00:00 was really catchy and it has a great theme tune. Glo Goggle is one of my favourite characters in this show alongside Gaby Goggle and it is nice to see a preview of the brand-new autumn CITV premieres for 1996 and I love the preview clips for the new series of Wizadora and The Riddlers at 15:00 15:01 and 17:33 17:34. I remember having The Riddlers episode previewed at 17:33 17:34 on a VHS but unfortunately we recorded over it in 1997 it is a shame that it is not on KZbin. The autumn CITV premieres in 1996 was awesome and what a fantastic brand-new season of shows they had that year it is a shame that those programmes finished in December before Christmas but at least 1997 kicked off with more brand-new programmes for the winter season.

The funny thing is that the day after this episode of Goggle Watch originally aired on CITV the episode of The Riddlers at 17:33 17:34 was shown on CITV alongside a brand-new series of Wizadora.

The Goggles are absolutely hilarious especially Gaby Goggle and Gary Goggle but so is Gran Goggle, Gordon Goggle and Glo Goggle.

I love the part at 19:34 19:35 where Glo Goggle was working in the kitchen I love Gloria's white chef's hat and her white chef's jacket.

I love the part at 20:47 20:48 where Glo Goggle presented the Gladiator with the food and drink that he liked to eat.

There was no Gogglewatch programme on Monday 2nd September 1996 on CITV instead it started the following afternoon on Tuesday 3rd September then it was broadcast on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon so the 4th, 5th and 6th September.
