It's admirable how consistent Bob remained- he did an episode of Celebrity Catchphrase on ITV (which I saw on KZbin only the other day) and his charity there was to open the first teenage/young adult cancer unit.

I had no idea so many classic Granada kids shows and schools programmes were repeated on Granada Plus. I didn’t have access to the channel until its final days.

That’s only something they did within the first year of coming on air. I believe they were often shown within the 6 to 7am hour, which for a while became a simulcast of The Box. It was probably only by 1998 they started acquiring content that wasn’t solely from the Granada and LWT archives. The takeover of Yorkshire Tyne Tees certainly benefited Plus no end.

Tetra Films Ltd was established in 1992 by Thames Television's head of children's programming following the loss of their Channel 3 franchise licence. It went on to produce several successful series for the ITV network and other broadcasters.

Mike and Angelo was kept going by Tetra Films till the year 2000 , Lee Pressmen who wrote the episodes to Mike and Angelo can only take one of his shows from Thames TV to Tetra and if you look at the opening titles to Middle English at 0:04 you can see Roger McGough talking to the students in a classroom from Acland Burghley School. That was from a episode called Mistaken Identity from 1990 where Roger McGough is Mistaken for Michael Rosen
