My Cassie heart is living for this! Mirotic is THE bop! The fanchant for this song is on another level; it can be heard from outside the stadiums they perform. I remember when it came out, the MV could not be shown because it was deemed "too sexy" and many lyrics had to be changed for broadcast. Also mirotic was said but in Korean. You should check out more from them before and after the split. and you should check out their female counterparts, CSJH The Grace.

I had to stop watching my programs so I could watch this REACTION!!! OMGGGGG THE KINGZZZZZZZ. Of course there are live versions of this lol, check it out, their vocals are UNREAL. Funny you said that it should be called "Under My Skin" because there is a German artist who did a song with the same music and it was called "Under My Skin." In the live versions they changed it to "Under My Sky" because the broadcast stations thought it was too "racy." Also they didn't like the lyrics "Red Ocean." People were so uptight back then.

Yes, TVXQ truly are all-time legends in the music industry. "Mirotic is a made up word that really has no meaning but it is derived from a play on the word mirror + otic -- the title was originally supposed to be something like mirror but they thought the word sounded better if you added otic to the end of it (it made it sound cooler, or something.) Think of it as the words mirror and exotic combined -- that's just how you pronounce the title, not the meaning of the word. "Mirotic," which came out in 2008 when they were still a 5 member group, is a classic in the Kpop world and every new rookie group -- both boy groups and girl groups -- learn this song and choreography and almost every rookie has performed it on music programs, award shows, at showcases, etc. at least once in their career. This song, like SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong," Girls Generation's "Gee" and Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry," etc. is pretty much compulsory for everyone in the entertainment industry to know and learn the song and dance to, no matter how young or old they are. In the MV for "Mirotic" the woman is supposed to be a siren, like from Greek mythology, and she is supposed to be tempting and trapping or luring the TVXQ members to her. Like they say in the song "... I got you under my skin ..." But in the end you see how the members have broke free from her control. (Often in Greek mythology the siren, through her intoxicating love powers, lures guys to their deaths.) Also, you should know, that the "red ocean" they are referring to in the song has a double meaning -- TVXQ's fandom is Cassiopeia and their fan color is red, so when you attend a TVXQ concert you will see an ocean of red. Welcome to the Cassiopeia fandom. If you like TVXQ then you are a Cassi. As an SM Entertainment group, it is no surprise that TVXQ are outstanding vocalists. Being some of the best dancers and vocalists in the industry is what we have come to expect from all of SM's artists and groups. That's just a fact about the type of people SM selects to be a part of its company. Here is some background to help you understand the dynamics of TVXQ better. Changmin is known for his powerful high notes (even more powerful than Chen and Baekhyun from EXO), he literally has one of the widest note ranges of almost any Kpop artist. In a high note battle he always wins. U-Know is known for his dancing and his passion for dancing and singing. He is also the rapper of the group. (U-Know truly loves what he does and doesn't hide it. He will tell you he is proud of his accomplishments and he is proud of his work. His passion is kind of a running joke within the industry. Or some of their older stuff with them as a duo, such as "Catch Me," "Something," or "Keep Your Head Down." TVXQ's "The Chance of Love" and Super Junior's "Black Suit" both came out around the same time, within a couple of months of each other, so that might be why, if you listen to "The Chance of Love" and Super Junior's "Black Suit," you might hear similarities in the two songs. Started it with by f*ck up H.O.T first, created another new great one TVXQ and then f*ck up it again. At least TVXQ still there till now although just 2 members left. Different story with H.O.T, the last 2 members whom SM kept (Kangta and Heejun, they changed to became soloist.. H.O.T really was no more after the other members (JTL) left SM. Although they are back re grouped again now, but its already been 17 years... too much time been passed. As H.O.T fan I am still pissed off of what happened in the past. I hope TVXQ could also re group again just like H.O.T before too much time being waste and create another legendary song performance.

I miss DB5K!! 😭 They sing live and thats one of many reasons i stan them. Samples are, korean live perf of inkigayo "love in the ice", dream concert 2008 "Tonight" but their japanese live performances (as Tohoshinki) are epic too like 2008, 2009 a-nation performance, "proud" and "wasurenaide" are my favs.
